We'll manager of month award curse was broken twice today ainsworth won bbm drew ...... and we won't play such a robust physical side that often this season....

There’s also the intentional break curse, we never seem to do that well after that.

The break I suspect didn't have to much effect it was more team selection but we won't know why he changed it untill debrief by bbm ..

Thought Rubin had a rough time today but he kept trying to make something happen, he's been brilliant this season up to now so can't complain too much, maybe still carrying the knock that stopped him joining up with the Welsh team.

I agree Rubin never had a great game today but also the majority of the team never played well

We were awful but got a point. The players kept going until the very end. We won't be at our best every game and points like this will be important come the end of the season.

Huge game Saturday now, hopefully see a crowd above 23k ... players deserve it after the start they've made.

Agree, they kept going till the very end. That's all we ask for as fans. Stockport were always gonna be the benchmark in this league and we didn't lose...On to the next one BLUEBIRDS!!!

Windy day, small pitch, a referee willing to let them get away with anything, it had all the hallmarks of a game we should lose so absolutely delighted with a point.

I don’t know if it’s because I watched Jaden Philogene last night score a hat trick for Ipswich and generally look electric, but can’t help feel we should be getting more attacking threat from our wingers

Based on our shocking first half stats of not one single attempt and no corners, clearly the team selection was wrong and things weren’t working… so am puzzled as to why BBM didn’t make a few changes and why leave it so late?
Lawlor, Kpakio and Osho on the bench was just nuts. So was starting Ashford against such a physical team. Men v’s boys stuff.
We play our best when we’re pressing hard and moving the ball forwards quickly. Chambers standing on it before passing backwards is nullifying our attacking threat.
BBM is a very lucky man. Should have been thrashed at Vale. Luton were unlucky not to at least get a point and now Stockport could have easily scored 4 or 5 in the first half alone. Can’t rely on Nathan’s heroics each game.

Here we go ….. Kpakio and Lawlor had their first major week away with their country and maybe BBM felt best give them a break as we have 2 games a week coming up to next international break , Ng and Chambers should be more than capable to step up ! Over the coming months we are going to have to deal with fixture list and international call ups ! How many times have I heard Gary Neville say United under Fergie didn’t play great every game but they found a way to pick up points when they were average or worse ! Stop moaning and support the boys

Doesn’t matter how good or bad the performance we got a point to keep us top of the league we weren’t brilliant at port vale but we got a point most important thing for me is if we can’t win the game don’t lose it either and we have done that

I suggested that during the game, he wasn't as assured as the other games & seemed off the pace a little.
