Cabango looked ropey again, when he was on against Kazakstan. Kpakio lost possession a few times, still has a lot to learn.

Harris did what Harris does, lots of running but missed a few half chances.

Dan James was a bit disappointing, same with Brooks, both have a better performance in them so perhaps it’s to do with it being a friendly.

The only player who can hold his head high from that was Ben Davies, never seems to let the team down. Wilson looked like he was trying too hard.

Sorbs Thomas is quality, his constant deliveries and forward running have always impressed me.

Good run out for Colwill, didn’t have long on the pitch so with little he had he did well, nothing flash but no mistakes

Difficult night for young Kpakio.
Obviously a much higher standard of opersition than he has been used to facing so far this season.
He gave the ball away on a number of occasions and frequently lost out on the 50/50 challenges.
Had little chance in the opersition half to make any impression the way he does for Cardiff and was disappointingly outpaced often while defending.
Bellamy withdrew him after around 70 minutes.
However, he is a very young lad and should learn from this experience.

Totally agree. He's not ready for International football yet but the more games he plays for City, the better he will become.

I'm pleased our three came through these games without injury.

As already said, too much experimenting meant a disjointed performance.

We simply didn't look after the ball well enough and lacked the required quality in the final third, but that's because we played a largely reserve team. I thought Charlie Crew struggled in midfield and tonight, one struggling performer in midfield with a poor Cabango and ineffective Mark Harris up front, gave us a very weak spine and allowed a good Canada team to control the game.

I thought Ben Davies was outstanding and the clear man of the match.

Tonight was a huge learning experience for Kpakio, which will only be a good thing for us. He gave away a clear penalty at the start and he continually lost the ball. At League 1 level, Kpakio nearly gets caught on the ball frequently. He nearly cost us home to Peterborough late on, but he usually manages to just about wriggle out of tight areas to keep it, so I give him the benefit of the doubt. Tonight showed he can't play this way at a higher level, so he needs to learn and adjust his game. I'm sure he will learn from tonight and continue improving.

Finally, that refereeing performance was as bad as I've ever seen. Players from both teams were getting frustrated with Rob Jones continually giving wrong decisions and the ref kept booking players showing frustration against his wrong decisions. Wilson in particular was given no protection with the number of times he was shirt pulled. The players got more and more frustrated as the game went on and then the game turned niggly. The poor standard of officiating spoilt the game and the ref lost control with multiple off the ball scuffles.

Well let’s hope the Welsh FA think about playing at the best stadium in Wales from now on
