Can't use the kick off time or it being on Sky as an excuse. Isn't stopping Plymouth bringing a lot and didn't stop Peterborough bringing decent numbers.
Also didn't stop our fans travelling well today or at Vale.
But sadly we do have a lot of floating fans who find any excuse not to turn up unless it's the Jack's or Premier league football

To be fair to Swansea they don’t get bad crowds , and as a city as large as Cardiff (425,000 with another 500,000 within 25 miles ) we should attract 20,000 minimum per home game if successful in L1. Cardiff City crowds are moderate.

Depends how old you are! I remember us beating them in about 1967- for some reason New Years day is in my mind. I was a young boy then and have no idea who scored or played but if it was that game I will go for a team of
Bob Wilson, Graham Coldrick, Bobby Ferguson, Gareth Williams, Don Murray, Brian Harris, Peter King, Bobby Brown, John Toshack, Ronnie Bird, Barrie Jones. (though he may even be in opposition that day). Plymouth might have played in white with a green and black hoop
We also had a very young keeper around that time called Lyn Davies and he may have been in goal. And Dave Carver might have been in instead of Coldrick. Other candidates would be George Andrews, Norman Dean![]()

The game was 1 Jan 1966

They simply don't have the pulling power of us? Home crowd of 14k yesterday in championship is not great regardless of of the size of Swansea and surrounding areas....
Theres more than enough urban conurbation to support a football club like Theres.

will we ever, until we one day may get back to the Premier league
We should be getting 25,000 without the plymouth fans
Our fans really need to turn up not just for an annual against swansea which we won' t be doing this season or Bristol so no excuse that I can see.

I’ve been banging on for years how as a % of our city population are crowds are not good, the city doesn’t really support the club, only 2/3% go when you take into account half our support comes from outside. I’d love to see a day where we got to the top flight and stayed there with proper owners…..![]()

Lots of people will get paid (monthly) this Friday could well boost the attendance, the management and players are certainly doing their bit, fans need to do their bit. Tough game

Players respond to a big crowd thats why it's imperative that we drowned out there fans, otherwise plymouth will be responding to there fans backing.

I agree Monty last season our home support was awful and in fact it helped the away team.
This season we have more fans at home on attendance and less away fans
Our players do respond to good home crowds etc
