My opinion is unchanged, I will look at who we have at the end of the window.

Absolutely nothing that I have seen points to that. BBM has admitted himself that he doesn't know if Alnwick, Horvarth or Daland will stay or go. As for players coming in, it's reported that Tan has already stopped 2 last week.

Tan is the owner and manager of our football club, every decision made by the club is his.

As has been said on another thread by someone, that's just his style of talking.

A lot of people getting hysterical at the moment but the signings will come.

Yeah the style is called "do what Tan tells me".

We may well have new players coming in but they will be freebies, loans mainly youngsters and almost certainly not the players BBM had on his list.

I think they'll be mostly loans actually and I think that's all we'll need.

If they are loans that’s not being Backed

It is if that's what he wants.

Yes a PUPPET would only want that.

A Decent manager would really want quality players that are here to stay.

Like keeping Salech, Robinson, Robertson etc.

He already has quality players for this level and just needs a few to add to them.

Bringing in 10 signings would have just been a waste of money and we needed a smaller squad anyway.

Had NO bids for them.

July and August 6th 2025:

Brian Barry-Murphy:

“We are looking to sign exceptional quality:”

"As a general overview we are looking to improve all areas of the team, from back to front - it's working in that order, based on the first signing!

"That's the message to the supporters, we are looking to bring in exceptional quality who we feel improves the starting XI.”

“ With every pound or penny spent on this squad, we feel we have a responsibility to the owner to treasure it, so we don't waste a penny

If only Warnock had thought a bit more like that :laughing5:

We don't know how much he will spend on Premier League top youth loans yet, but if he does get us up with the budget he has had up to now, BBM will have done a great job, we were a mess by the end of last season.

Every so often, you need a Slade-type reset and clear out.

Let's judge the signings and the job he's doing after the window closes and the standard twelve games and at Christmas.

Move on unbelievable:

Was told to do that regarding the Despicable Rebrand and let it go.

Bullshit Tan is Selling but he keeps changing his mind.

I always Support My Team No matter what .

But we Clare we not allowed to put out our beliefs / opinions.

Or do we have all to be Tan Puppets?

I noticed previously you compared him better than Bulut and Riza.

We are in Div 3.

Plus We can’t compare BBM with NO one yet till we’ve seen enough games.

We will know where are at after 10-12 games .

Hopefully Too 4 of Div 3

Mark,

We are season after season clearing out dead wood.

If BBM takes us straight back up then he has done what we all wanted and expected of him and I will be the first to say Well Done.

Agree, Annis — we were in a real mess at the end of last season, and this was always going to be a tough job. As a few have said, I’m fairly optimistic because BBM is winning me over and seems to know how to get the best out of this young squad.

Tan has caused all the problems, but I’m hopeful BBM can start to turn us around. It’s still early days, and he’ll need backing with at least four more signings. It’s a long, tough season, and with injuries and suspensions inevitable, you need a strong squad to go up.

I think he'll get them, but if we don't get an extra four players in, I won't be happy or nearly as optimistic.

Its a viscous cycle we are trapped in.
Such a massive lack of ambition and awareness from the owner and his droids
May the protests continue

THE MORE I THINK ABOUT IT THE MORE I STAND BY THIS:

“CARDIFF CITY ARE IN THE 3RD TIER OF THE LEAGUE / WE SHOULD BE ACCEPTING NOTHING LESS THAN AUTOMATIC PROMOTION AND THATS WHAT 99% OF US FANS SAID AND DEMANDED WHEN WE GOT RELEGATED.”

“I STAND BY IT / WE ARE UP AGAINST 90% OF CLUBS WHO SHOULD NOT BE ENEN TO COMPETE WITH US.”

ON A POSITIVE NOT / I END BY SAYING:

“MAY 2026 CARDIFF CITY PROMOTED / NOTHING LESS.”

So do our managers decide and then give players like Evans, Etete etc New Contracts??

Remember they don’t even put them in their sides.

So who decides ??

It makes me laugh when people on here say we are waiting for the top quality youngsters to become available. Clubs releasing them will want them tested at the highest possible level, so premier clubs get first shout, then the championship clubs and then the 3rd div clubs, that's where we come in.

Paul,

I burst on to laughter.

If they are high quality they will go to the Championship.

Your Spot on

So there's no point in League One clubs loaning players?

What a load of nonsense

Good call. All this in-house arguments will surely transpire on to pitch and where will that leave us.
Support the boys and at least look like club fans not rivals
