4 GOAL KEEPERS 14 OUT 1 IN ?

All this blaming BBM for not getting in the "quality he wants to get in" is a little ridiculous. It's not like he can put his hand in his pocket & start paying for the players himself, he has a 3 year contract & I'm guessing some promises were made at that time by the 3 clowns & he based his statement on those promises. And here we are in thee middle of August with no sign of those players.

Why you're (monty & others) blaming the manager for breaking "promises" is beyond me, you're blaming the manager for things out of his control rather than the actual culprit, Tan. He can only work with what he's given & to expect anything different is not reasonable or productive.

Did he actually say "I promise to bring in x players" or did he say "I would like to bring in x players" or did he say "we need x players" ?

For me this is Not the managers fault we have only got 1 player in to this point .
It's all down to the Club or Transfer committee we have had in place for years - to do their job .

We to date are in a worse place than last season regarding transfers, or halfway through another rebuild, and 2 games into the season will we ever be set to start a season.

True, last year’s keepers are gone with Darland, so BBM’s only had a single loan keeper to work with, and he’s still unbeaten.

Hopefully, he’s shown enough now for the board to back him and get some players in.

Going off BBM’s own words, the hold-up is on him. He knows exactly who he wants and won’t just chuck anyone into the squad. If it’s a centre-half, it’s got to be the right one to actually improve us. Feels like we’re waiting on four nailed-on starters.

Got no prob with shipping out dead wood but I am on about the balance 17 out 1 in is slightly skewed.
