Surprise surprise Wrexham on again, every single Wrexham game is on Paramount.
Of course it is but it's not the only game being shown. They have the rights to the league cup games so maybe we'll be on if we get through a few rounds, or draw Wrexham.

Are we Rochdale in disguise?
BBM is clearly encouraging us to play sideways and backwards even when there’s an opportunity to pass it forwards.
Very little movement off the ball. Painful to watch. Robinson forced to drop deep into midfield to get the ball moving quicker.
I swear if feckin Chambers dithers and stands in the ball again (before opting to pass back to the keeper) then I’m going to put my trousers back on.

Nearly 2-0
Chambers header just wide

Struggling to see what Robinson brings... Not been much service but also he's not in the right areas when the ball is there. Doesn't seem mobile or physical enough

Sideways and back is a very big Pep trait near penalty area so hardly surprising..

Great Free kick by Rubin Colwill.
That was class 2-0

Rubin, you’ve done it again!
Bale, eat your heart out!

HT: 2-0
City dominating the ball and have had the best chances.
It's been quite straightforward so far and probably game over already.
Hopefully get another couple of goals in the second half.
Isaak Davies probably the best player. Turnbull playing well too.
Fantastic free kick by Rubin.

Nice to see City utterly outplay a team but Swindon are dreadful. Still too ponderous and slow in possession at times. Chambers easily turned inside out by the Swimdon striker who nearly scored. Colwill well above this level. Outstanding free kick.

Thought we were useless the first twenty minutes. However Robinson started dropping into the pocket and we started getting the ball into his feet. Seemed to have made the Swindon players back off a lot, creating opportunities in behind for the wingers and space for Colwill. Robinson made a good run and played in a well weighed ball for Ashford who should’ve scored his second but hit the post. Cracking free kick from Rubin. More central than the one against P’Borough but not far off the same sort of distance.I’m not a huge Robinson fan but his movement off the ball has been good.
More goals would be good. After just two goals over our first two games, and the problems we had in front of goal last season, it’ll be a great momentum creator for the boys.
Think the commentator best summed up the first half saying it was ‘processional’.

Happy with that as we sweep aside Div 4 Swindon
Tue Aug 12, 2025 7:43 pm
Alot of positives there.
Davies has been very good and his corners have been excellent, He's done enough to start on Saturday imo.
Ashford far better on right.
Colwill working hard and looking dangerous from range all the time.
Kpakio needs to make sure his passing finds his man a few stray ones.
Swindon are terrible mind.
