Are you serious?. You want us to lose??

All this talk about takeovers has encouraged the gullible to spend on season tickets. Tan doesn’t give a monkeys whether they turn up at the ground or not because he’s already got the money up front, which by the way, doesn’t seem to have been invested into the squad.

I can’t believe I read that from a supposedly Cardiff fan either.

I’m gutted as it looks like he’s here for the long term.

Whatever Tan is he’s not an idiot as this guy says.

Someone wanted us to lose a couple of seasons ago so it's not even new. I think they wanted McCarthy gone & thought he would go if we didn't lose.

Don’t forget Gary Otto transferred his stock in Sutton - why would he do that if he didn’t think he was buying a new club

All in Companies House

I just don’t see what tan benefits from not selling?because if he ever wanted to get back to the prem he’s going to have to spent a big lot of money and that’s a gamble in it self, what says we go up this year I just don’t get it if he thinks the clubs worth 100 million absolute madness

This is how I sèe it and by no means am I supporting his board or anything else. Its just an honest opinion.
Tan sees us as his asset and as we stand he knows that we are a big fish in a small pond. And if we get promoted with a little transfer fee/budget we will be quids in for the season. We are then back in championship and with the youngsters (performed to get us promoted) he's willing to probably sell these. We all know if you have stock you buy low and sell high. We are currently low stock value so won't sell. So maybe a year or two away. But in the mean time we carry on supporting the boys hopefully get up to championship. And honestly anyone who says I want to lose because of tan f**k off get a grip

I’d agree with this, but he has to keep subsidising his stock as we lose money from his poor decision making. He props us up for 10-15m a year .. and credit to him for doing so, but I can’t see our value increasing by 25-30m being back in the championship. And if we get there, he’ll need to spend anyway to stabilise. Feels false economy to me and we’re likely stuck until he passes .. but we’ll see. Feels very much like he goes “I’ve spent £xm this season, so I’ll add it to my valuation” without any real concept of what it’s really worth to the normal person

You sell you assets your company value decreases.... plus it adds to jepody of being relegated again so making club doubly unattractive to buyers ! So be in same position then as today wanting something he can't have 100m for club.... they say never sell at lowest point maybe true of most buisnesses but since when as football been any normal buisness?

Forcing the bidders to squeeze the extra millions into the deal.. If someone wants us and sees an opportunity ( that's the reason for buying ) they will , this is a multi million pound business ,even in Div1....
Perhaps Bale should have been more circumspect in his bid . .

“Vincent Tan does not want to sell” Dalman said yesterday at one point and yet in the same meeting Dalman says “Vincent Tan wants £100Million”? ???

So what’s the stance on it all. Dalman admits that they are taking one seriously but says we aren’t progressing as we have a promotion to achieve. Is it all dead in the water?

The stance is twice now in the last 2 yrs they’ve accepted offers and at the last moment they’ve changed their minds.
Tan advised by Dalman that they can take us up on pennies and then get more for Our Club.

They are now saying Tan does mot want to sell now, I believe of course he wants to still sell, just decided they want more money as their is healthy competition to buy us.

Every bit of Truth will as always come out in the end :bluebird: :thumbright: :bluebird: :thumbright:

Dalman is the biggest bullshitter I’ve ever met in my life.

Re: BBC BREAKING / VINCENT TAN: “WHAT A U-TURN”

Annis, the key point for me was Dalman mentioning the hostile takeover. Seems Tan wants to drag it out to push up the price, as I guess he’s entitled to do. Dalman seemed targeted with keeping gripes and moans under control so Tan can move on when he wants.

Pressure from the fans would likely reduce both the price and his window to sell. Sadly if we keep winning on the pitch, we’ve seen most will just nod along and accept the status quo. We know there are bids, we know they’re fair and more than fair at times. Very little anti Tan/board yesterday, Dalman achieved his goal with his rounds and until that changes, we’ll be stuck with VT

Yes I agree about the asset selling will decrease stock but the youngsters value will go up (if few have a good season) which technically could push the value of the club up. At which we know he likes to value high anyway. So with his inflated ego if he thinks ha has half a dozen players worth X million then he will think the club is worth Xmillion more
