I think Wayne’s idea above is a cracker.
From speaking to my dad he said there was no negativity about tan on sky, if anything lauding him. But the empty stadium at the start would certainly be unavoidable to talk about.

Seems a compromise every one could get behind. Even I would back this action.

Where Johnny gone?

Absolutely ridiculous idea, where are 14,000 fans going to be and then a mad rush to get into the arena

Jubilee Park, Athletic Stadium and Car Parks.

Or just delay your usual journey by 20 minutes, so everyone filters in as normal, just 20 minutes later.

No need to miss 20 mins 10 mins is fine for an empty stadium at the start.

I genuinely don’t see our fan base protesting or doing anything tbh

Support the team, not the regime has always been my view.

I hate that Tan is staying because he's done a terrible job.

But ever since this manager was appointed, I've believed that Tan has struck lucky.

The best chance we have now to get rid of Tan is if we get promoted and then a big bid goes in.

So we have to support the team but also make sure Tan know he's not wanted.

Unfortunately I agree with this.
The last protest was a damp squid with a couple of hundred only.

I’ve been on every protest except one and especially if we keep doing well this season I feel it’ll die a death.

With regards to boycotting the stadium that will never ever happen.

Disagree the last protest was a last minute thing not organised in advance like the previous with 2,500 or more .

I’m not saying don’t protest if I’m in the country I’ll be there also. At least it’s doing something though.

It’s just my opinion it won’t make a scrap of difference.

I didn't hear one anti tan song Saturday either except some blue Bloons with tan out on that's all I seen. Although if things go bad results wise more people will folllow with chants and online that's for sure as that's what today's football fans do these days when the teams winning and it's all good nothing gets done so it's swept under the carpet. When results go against them they protest that's how stupid things have got with modern football fans. Boycott the stadium or sing tan out songs for 90 minutes inside the ground. Maybe do a march for outside the ground before games. Nothing else will work.

?? The concourse area can fit the fans see it every game empty seats before ko then full in couple minutes.. no need to stay out stadium..

Re: IF TAN STAYS WE NEED TO PROTEST

Protest by all means but it will be of sporadic success ....outside won't get much coverage if any? Stay off terraces before game will work if on sky but not on city TV which is what tan will probably watch as club cameras simply show something else until fans get in ground and singing tan out very limited as again city tv just drop sound ... afterall its controlled by Tan.... tan is thousands miles away not sure he cares to much about what fans are doing if players are winning on pitch ..

Totally disagree with this — it would only hurt a very young squad that needs our support. Why should fans miss out on the chance to get behind what looks like it’s going to be a really enjoyable season?

The protests only worked last time because they damaged Tan’s reputation in Malaysia, which led to the change back to blue. When you’re already losing the kind of money he has, why would you care if crowds are lower? He is also unlikely to attend anytime soon to witness low crowds.

I have a gut feeling he is going to roll the dice one more time and hope we get promoted this year. I just hope we can focus on the positivity of BBM and not let any negativity from Tan come into the stadium on match day. I thought the atmosphere Saturday was excellent and would only build if we start well.

Just don’t think enough fans would protest and there’s still some fans who stick up for the board, and for me it’s just the modern fan win a few games sign a few players all will be forgotten about, lose a few mind they’ll want him out again until the club do a statement once in a blue moon and all the fans lap it up again it’s like rinse and repeat

Well Wayne you called it mate watching the Wednesday protest and the amount of media attention it has risen proves what a great idea you came up with.

It certainly worked well for them loads of coverage during the all pundits and commentators talking about it. I do t know how it could have gone better.

You really need to get involved with the protest group mate.
