In saying that, Tan should have sold years ago, but hung on allowing the club to be dragged down and ultimately be relegated without a fight. Without a fight, yes, but also without ANY help from Tan who was happy to see us plumett in terms of players, performances, league position and crowds. Did he do anything about it? a big fat NO is the answer.

As such if he remains in charge for the Posh game he deserves all the vitriol he gets, and there will be anger. The action against Tans apathy will remain until he has left the club and the City for good.

We want, need and pray for new owners who can finally give us hope.

I respectfully disagree. Without Vincent Tan, we would not have experienced Premier League football on two separate occasions. Every club goes through difficult periods before finding its way back. While it's true that some of his decisions may have appeared questionable and perhaps influenced by poor advice, it’s important to recognise that he has also delivered significant achievements for the club.

Are you deluded?

No, I'm not deluded. Let's not discuss your points.

Tan has mismanaged our beloved club for 15 years. In those 15 years, we have been in the Premeirship twice. That was purely down to Malky and Warnock, not Tan.

The rebrand being his biggest mistake. It split the fan base, we had fans being threatened if they didn’t jump on the rebrand bandwagon, friends and relatives fell out with each other and many fans haven’t been to support Cardiff since. Agree a mistake, although I believe he was very badly advised as he entered the arena of British football He said he wouldn't rebrand us and obviously lied. He may have taken advice from the wrong people but he didn't listen to the genuine fans.

He refuses to employ a DOF because he thinks he knows all about football. Possibly because DOF often waste millions of pounds. You complain about debt, but you wish to add to possible large debts with a DOF He knew and still knows nothing about running a football club. Employing a DOF would have paid for itself with more success on the pitch. As Aaron Ramsey said, he's never played for a club who haven't employed a DOF. Most if not all the top successful clubs employ a DOF. Also look at Wrexham as an example of how to run a football club if you don't know anything about football.

He promised we’d be debt free in a few years, that was about 12 years ago. Vincent has turned a lot of debt into equity, and he is still in a position; he said he would leave the club debt-free. He hasn't left. He said we'd be debt free in a few years, when he first took over.

He phones and/or tests the manager and coaches before and during the game. This has been confirmed by an ex-player. A disgruntled player? I may have missed this interview with this player, do you have a link? It was Sean Morrison on the central club

He doesn’t turn up for games, in fact I can’t remember the last one he attended. Vincent lives in Malaysia, it's not just down the Heads Of The Valley link road.
He turned up for nearly every game in the first few years, then stopped when he reluctantly gave us our rightful colours back.
We have a part-time MD and CEO who rarely come to games let alone spent time working at the club. Do you know their work structure? If they are too busy in their other jobs, then they shouldn't be employed as our MD and CEO.

What work would you like to see them operate on a full-time basis?

He continually employs cheap managers that he can control, basically “yes” men. He's also spent a fortune on failed managers who have wasted a fortune too, I refer you back to your distaste for debt
All managers have been employed by Tan, he has the final say so as you say he's spent a fortune on his failed managers.
Each summer we get the usual promises of investment in the squad, then come the end of the transfer window we get the same old excuse of, we tried but had many obstacles that prevented us getting our targets. Isn't that the same at many clubs in the football industry?
Simply NO
Before each season, except this one, the club announce that we are going for promotion just to give fans what they think we want to hear. Only for it to end in another relegation battle. Doesn't every club have a desire for promotion at the start of a season? No most are realistic and many clubs priority is to not get relegated.

The club has no direction or ambition, it’s completely lost its soul over the last 12 years. Your opinionYEP!

We hear nothing from the club for months on end but then get another promise that the club will communicate more with us fans but this never happens. Agree

So back and concentrate on your beloved West Ham and let us Cardiff fans worry about our club.
West Ham?

Good post Mike, agree with all your answers as do the majority of our real fans.

I don't understand this mindset at all. Surely someone can disagree & still be a real fan or is it just those that agree are the real fans?

I agree with most of it but not all of it so what does that make me ? Serious question because while this mindset prevails we will never be a united front.

For clarity, the poster that Mike is replying to is not a Cardiff fan, his club is West Ham as Mike has pointed out. So not even a Cardiff fan, let alone a real one.

Ah my bad. I presume you mean the ex trust member who is probably the Muppet otherwise known as Daya.

Exactly mate but I should have been clearer really as this Daya character likes the attention by being divisive. He's using AI now to disguise a lack of Actual Intelligence and as you say, a Muppet but without the laughs.
