Peterborough fans are very worried about this season as they have not hardly strengthened.

In League One, Peterborough United's wage bill was one of the lowest, with the club spending a relatively small amount per point earned.

They are still a big side and as we have got rid of most of our big lumps I have a feeling they will steam roll over us.

That's true, Peterborough were near the bottom for a lot of last season and I wouldn't be surprised if they go down because they've lost a few of their best players.

They've replaced them but not with players who are that good - which is exactly my point about a club making signings doesn't mean they've improved the squad.

Poku will be a big miss for them, great player.

But they are unlucky they're playing one of the best teams in the league on the opening day.

“Isaak Davies, we've had some good news on.

We thought he might have been injured. He isn't injured and he's available for the weekend.”

Benjamin Speedie will take charge of our game against Peterborough United.

Last season, he refereed 44 games - 20 of them in League One. He also was the man in the middle for the Vertu Trophy Final and three Championship games.

He showed 138 yellow cards and two red card, an average of 3.1 yellow cards per game.

It will be interesting to see the players reaction if we went a goal down against Posh. It's quite possible obviously. Remember, these boys took us down. Do they have the mental toughness or fight in them? For now, I'm unconvinced but truly hope BBM and those players convince me they mean business.

It's the goals we shipped last season that leaves a nagging doubt for me.

They must be saying same as conceded 80+ goals themselves!
3-1 city

Not sure we’ll score 3 but I hope so.

First games are usually a bit slow and boring as players are not quite match fit etc. and don’t want to lose.

Our defence worries me though as we always concede.

Any sort of win and I’ll be happy

Sick of the negativity, our team is still mostly championship level and we only got relegated by a couple of points after having the worst manager in our history.

3-0 win.

We're going to win the league.

Feel free to save this post.

No way on earth that was a penalty, Fish got the ball & the guy fell over after the ball had gone.

If that wasn't a penalty Lawlor would have been sent off - for the foul on the edge of the box -
