They are still a big side and as we have got rid of most of our big lumps I have a feeling they will steam roll over us.

That's true, Peterborough were near the bottom for a lot of last season and I wouldn't be surprised if they go down because they've lost a few of their best players.

They've replaced them but not with players who are that good - which is exactly my point about a club making signings doesn't mean they've improved the squad.

Poku will be a big miss for them, great player.



But they are unlucky they're playing one of the best teams in the league on the opening day.

Peterborough finished 18th last season in League 1 and are bringing over 1,000 Fans for a 12:30pm kick off live on Sky

Benjamin Speedie will take charge of our game against Peterborough United.

Last season, he refereed 44 games - 20 of them in League One. He also was the man in the middle for the Vertu Trophy Final and three Championship games.

He showed 138 yellow cards and two red card, an average of 3.1 yellow cards per game.

Calum Chambers has been named as the new Cardiff City captain, with Rubin Colwill as vice captain.

Colwill will captain the team on Saturday as Chambers is suspended.
