Friend of mine was FD for Sarries for a few years asked him his opinion on Johann Rupert... below for interest...
"He certainly has the money if he wants to do it! I only met him a few times. He’s a strong personality but always quite engaging. Loves holding court and opining on almost any subject. With Saracens, he made the investment through one of the plcs that he’s the majority shareholder in. (He had 2: Richemont and Remgro, both of which are worth billions!) We had two representatives from Remgro on our board along with Johann’s daughter, but not Johann himself.
I always found them really good to deal with. Very nice guys and very straightforward. They had more of a business mindset than Nigel Wray. They always had to justify any money they were putting in to the club to the analysts and minority shareholders of the plc, whereas Nigel could just be honest that he was funding his hobby. Overall though, I’d see it as a positive. They’re proper investors. They’ll want to see that there’s value in any money they’re investing, but they’re not cowboys who are likely to get bored one day and leave the club in a hole."

Looks like Gary otto and his pals are going to win race! He's like Rupert so either would survice as new owners.
