He is the future of our club,he needs to be given a 5 year contract, with £20m buy out clause to keep the vultures away.
If we are serious about giving youth a chance get him signed up ASAP.

It was about his contract being 2026, not 2025.

Would make sense, on our last retained list they mentioned plenty of youth players where we’d triggered an extension, but Lawlor isn’t one of them. What you said makes the most sense though IMO

Surely he has a new contract? His last one run out a couple of weeks ago, on 30th June?

Something about this doesn’t make sense… surely if he didn’t have a contract he wouldn’t be playing. My guess is they have exercised the option to extend it for 12 months as it sounds like that is something the club could do without negotiations

They have extended it till July 1st next year, but what we all want is to give him a 5-year contract with a bonus as he progresses through the five years.

Bellamy is in Santa Ponsa and he said this lad is going a long long way and he’s quality.

Been told that if we sell kids to a foreign club ( like when Ledley went to Scotland) we DON'T get compo. However, if Lawlor went to an English club, we STILL wouldn't be entitled to compo as we HAVENT OFFERED HIM A DEAL!

Just rechecked on transfer market, it says 2025, but on this site https://www.besoccer.com/player/dylan-lawlor-3266544
It states July 2028.
