Still time for signings, but unlikely to be ready for the start of the new season.
This, once again has to considered as very disappointing!

If the delay was because we are being sold fair enough, but I got a bad feeling it’s the same nonsense from the board and they ain’t going anywhere. Choo will still be using us as a car sales room rather than concentrating on running a football club.

Worcester, when are all these transfers happening?
Your not worried but the majority of us are, so when are they are arriving?

I think we will be looking at mostly loans so would think any movement will be later on in the window once Premier league teams have submitted there squads

Stating the obvious :old:

I haven't been one of those people because we had the news that the initial transfer targets were vetoed by BBM because they didn't fit the profile he wanted. He also had his own targets which would be a much better fit.

I also didn't expect any news in the last week because the manager has been in Spain. Deals could be done while he was away, but unlikely.

He also has had the time to evaluate the squad so will know what he needs.

He said last night that there will be players coming in over the next few weeks.

I would expect there to be at least some rumours this week if not more than just rumours.

I don't expect loads of new signing and nor do I think we need loads unless star players leave, which is unlikely at this point.

"Quality rather than quantity" is definitely the right approach because we have the core of a strong squad for this league. Thankfully, gone are the days where we stack the squad with has beens.

We just need to add a few. Need some experience and I'm sure there will be a few young loanees who can add quality.

20 days to go until the first game against Peterborough. Preparations are going well with the players that we have in the building and it will be interesting to see who the new additions will be.

Excited for the new season, not long to go now.

That’s not fair, as Worcester was only voicing an opinion; the same as those whose opinion is that no incomings is a worry

Personally, I think the few that we do bring in will be well thought out and personnel that BBM is happy with; not like the transfers of recent years where most players were forced on our manager

Things they are a-changing at the CCS. Annis alluded to ‘big changes’ coming in the summer some time ago, and it seems they are happening

You, more vocally than most, asked for it, so just let it run and we’ll see where we are soon enough :ayatollah:

Apart from a statement from GB about putting in a couple of offers, and some rumors about some South Africans being at the stadium (of which there is no proof at all) I don't see the club being sold anytime soon.

Didn't expect this much criticism from an opinion piece but I guess the vultures will go for anything that is remotely positive

Stand by my post, I'd expect movement to ramp up soon.

Your not surprised ned? You must follow party lines or you'll lose the whip! (If a politician) :laughing6: think it's best to leave other people have the stress of what's happening at club really not worth losing sleep over things we dont have any control of... :old:

You don't half say some stupid things.

Ned and I are moderators so in a way we are the party line. Ned and my opinions are on the opposite sides. Net me give you an example, who said Riza was going to take us to the Premier and who said he was going to take us down? No prizes for guessing right.

Yes did notice! And don't blame you thought a two week break for me would help but problem is nothing changes get tired of swimming against the tide! Hopefully start season will see change of tune ar least be something new ... :P

I was confident we would sign a few players but after seeing Steve borley floundering about on twitter last night trying to say the club needed to move more out before we could bring anyone in

Then when it was pointed out to him he was wrong about squad numbers etc he hastily deleted all tweets, this does worry me and I wasn't the only one to notice it

Worcester only puts out what he's heard from a couple of old biddies having a natter in ASDA supermarket, other words he is like us all and knows sod all, I expect I will get another ban from saying the truth again but sh#t happens.
