This does not surprise me.

If we can keep hold of Salech before the takeover then that will be a big bonus. Unfortunately while Tan is here he will sell him if the price is right. Tan has no care for us and is trying to get revenue in to pay the wages only. Ambition for the club is not in Tans genes and we need him out.

One of the assets would have been sold so it’s feasible that the potential owners could say ‘ok that’s £4m less that we’re offering’. Can’t see it happening for this and the reasons given by Worcester above.
