Good half from us, better than the other night which shows these players are improving.

Southend not really troubled us since they had a chance early on.

Decent half, rubin is on it again two nice assists, Salech looking good, I thought Wintle actually had a good half as well anchoring the midfield,

I'd like to see some of the second half team make a case for a starting 11 spot as I feel the first half 11 won't be far off the team that starts the season for us

I know its a training again against a non league team but nice to see us utterly dominate Southend. The aggressive press is really good. Salech clinical. The patterns of play and switch to either wing is encouraging.

I would say no. First half was better but the second half team is the weaker team and they're doing better than the weaker team did against Johor.

Definitely signs of progress and players learning their jobs.
