Have they had a player sent off after the whistle ?

Nothing too inspiring in that first half.

Tsunoda looked okay before he went off.

Etete getting stuck in is good to see.

Colwill the younger didn't do much, was expecting more from what I've read about him.

Not exactly a friendly friendly with 1 of theirs being sent off after the ht whistle had gone.

Their standard is Lower than low:

From City fans their:

Same shit kicking back to keeper stupid mistakes and bbm saying nothing like riza the other team like top prem team, yet TNS probably better.

Tan must be telling them what to do again:

It’s a friendly so I won’t take it to heart .

Friendly

Stop bashing the team. Lower than low. Seriously? Its a pre-season training game with a mixed side. They are noticeably pressing higher already. Already seeing signs of what BBM is doing. You can't judge or draw anything from this so criticising it is nonsense.

Kapakio
Willock
Colwill

Decent first half.
The Malaysian side is decent to be fair.
I think-Lower than low is harsh.
Technically ok, fast and fit.

We need to pull them apart more.
Got to be beating these.

I'm watching on stream and have heard bbm shouting a lot especially at players to be quicker on the press, I think that was your typical first pre season 45 minutes players finding there feet

Totally agree. It’s a training/fitness exercise you can’t be judging anyone! How can you say you’re not expecting more for Colwill in his first 45 for City is ages! These are not competitive games! They’re a way of putting in the work needed before August 2nd. To say otherwise is a nonsense.

It’s Def a friendly and that’s correct:

But let’s see a bit of flair attacking and good football, not much to ask.

Second-Half

I see a big difference with them against 10 men

It’s a friendly and we must treat it as that .

A red card was shown to a Southern Tigers player at the end of the first half, but he has been substituted at the break.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and it won’t take 45 minutes to change the football that most of these players have been coached to play over the last two seasons.

Anyone who thinks that they can flick a switch and all of a sudden play a completely different style of football, clearly hasn’t played football even at the level of Sunday league.

It’s a game to try and implement a new way of playing, get the players back fit, and find out who fits in where, as I’ve said before.

Turnbull scores the first goal of the season.

On the sending off. I agree a player was sent off but it looks like Johor are being allowed to play with 11 in the second half

Apparently everyone agreed that 11v10 was a waste of time so they were allowed to substitute the sent off player, it is a friendly after all.

The sending off will do us no good at all for our preparations. We need to be tested. Refs shouldn't send players off in friendlies. If anyone is reckless, they should be asked to leave the pitch for a replacement to come on.
