I would hope that there is a deal there that allows Tan to hand over the club in a better state than when he bought it (as he promised) and again, as he promised, a club that is debt free.
I know there are many whose opinion of VT will not change but he has the opportunity to walk away from the club with his head held high.
Whether the deal is (a) Straight cash or (b) Purchase plus xx% shares for debt - either way there is a deal there to be done.
I hope he takes this opportunity which will allow him to leave with his head held high

Most bids of this kind are very commercially sensitive, I’m sure there is something about to happen ( otherwise Bale could have batted back the Sky reporter in a recent interview) but the figures being banded about would not be in the public domain.
Organisations like the trust will not have one iota of what’s really happening in the background and neither will middle management and below.

200 million and ccfc is yours.
Tan just needs to get rid .when a business goes sour it's time to move on .Now is that time for Tan .
It's never worked him being here since day one .
It's been an un enjoyable experience for me personally.
Time to go Mr Tan

Will wait to see if Bale makes another commitment on this, but good luck to him and the consortium involved with this bid, if rejected by Tan no doubt there will be a third and possibly last bid for now anyway.

Surely they wouldn’t offer 85 million, club is worth nowhere near that, possibly 50 at a push….It’s like sheff weds, 200 million in debt but no one will pay anywhere near that.

Depends if the debt is written off and the stadium is part of the deal .

80 million minimum, regardless of relegation to league 1 and what reports say about the value of clubs.
Can’t call yourself a supporter if you can accept 40/50 million as a good offer for your own club, devaluing the club and its potential.. whoppers.

W.O.L. Say a bid of £40million has been made.
