I hope a deal can be done, it is time for a change but we need more details on the consortium who's involved what are their plans and how much ambition are they going to show? At the end of day Tans a business man not a charity he's going to look for the best deal for himself. No man is going to be happy walking away and losing millions whether we like it or not. When big money is involved I don't think a few thousand fans thousands of miles away from where he lives calling Tan a di#kh#ad is going to make much difference. I want a deal to go through if the buyers are ambitious but it's got to be a good deal for everyone. In reality, Tans not just going to walk away from millions and write it off because we want him out, he's a business man.
It is 100% time for change, Tan has made some big mistakes but has put his hand in his pocket more than other owners in the past, the rebrand was his biggest mistake but in reality I just don't think he quite understood the tribalism in football.
It's time for him to go but I don't think he deserves the abusive hate. When I look back at the nighties at Nin, we've come along way, at the time I never thought I'd see City in the prem etc... Tans spent money he's just made s##t decisions and he obviously hasn't done them intentionally.
A big mistake Tan made was not having football people with knowledge on board instead of people like Ken Choo.

I totally agree with the above. Tan is a businessman so he will want something decent.
This is why I suggested that any deal should perhaps allow him to retain 25% shares in return for the debt.
This would mean that when the club is back in the EPL, and valued at £450-500m, his shares would be worth in excess of £100m which would be a good deal against what he is owed.
I am sure any deal could also afford Tan a minimum amount in the case of share dilution.
This would mean (a) Minimum investment for new owners (b) A debt free club and (c) Tan gets his money back in 4-5 years time.
