I had the exact same thought.

I also thought the way that Rambo was being slagged off by some on hear without knowing the full story or at least his side of it was not good at all, I think it will all come out sooner or later what happened, and we will then have the same people saying he acted in the proper manner.

But back to your point, I was wondering if AR may have something to do with the takeover even if its to bring him back in a coaching role in the future, or even as the DOF, and before anyone says he has no experience in that role, well neither did one of his good mates McPhail have, and look at the job he is doing and gaining a really good reputation for it as well.

Ramsey is still going to Mexico, all the media say so. It was always reported that it would take a few weeks to finalise because of logistics. Nothing has changed.

Also, if someone bought the club tomorrow then they wouldn't assume control straight away.

Because of the increased EFL checks on new owners, ratification would take approximately three months.

Now we won't be sold tomorrow but if we were, things wouldn't likely be completed until around the build up to Christmas.

So that rules out things like Ramsey coming straight back now.

Thas not true cardiff city are a ltd company someone could buy the shares in hours if they wanted too if they were confident they would pass the efl fit and proper owner test.

You're not listening. I'm not on about selling the club.

I'm on about the EFL tests. They have changed a lot, people don't realise this.

Spot on, Ned

I’ve stayed away from this topic (Bale) today, as I can’t get myself too excited, as I think it’s almost too good to be true, so err on the side of much caution

This ‘thing’ with Rambo in some posts is a both mad and presumptuous. Even though his signing for Pumas in Mexico is still a little sketchy. I’ve only found one AI site that says it’s been signed), and he has stated he intends to battle on as a player until next year’s World Cup, always assuming Wales qualify

Chris, the initial reports were that it would take several weeks to finalise the move to Mexico so I think nothing has changed.

I never said he wasn’t going to Mexico, if you read the post again I clearly say for a coaching role in the future.

I for one think its strange that AR didn’t make a public farewell, and I think there is a genuine reason behind it, now that could be something to do with the takeover, it could be something to do with his managerial discussions with Tan, who knows ? But I honestly do not think its intended with any malice or ignorance towards the city fans.

Not to be pedantic but his contract ends on the 30th June, and just maybe he has a lot to say, but being still under contract till then, if what he has to say is not something he could say under contract or get sued, and you know that Tan loves to sue, then next week could be a very interesting statement of him. Look out Choo :laughing6:
