So, let's just hold off and see what happens and what the team looks like when the season kicks off, as i've said previously it might just suit us to move a few anyway.

I agree to hold fire but it is possible that they have a clause in their contract that allows them to leave if we are relegated, which could account for some of the sh!t showings from a few of them last season.
im guessing (from what BBM said) all of the ones he wants to keep HAVEN'T got those clauses and that would mean (as you say) the ball is in our court.

That sounds about right to be fair.

As their contracts end in 2027 we could demand a fee for each.

I find it particularly gruelling that players can be part of the reason to get us relegated and then believe they are too good to play for us. This is not the type of character we need playing for us.

Out of those

Perry Ng - (£3m) - I think can be replaced by Kpakio as well as Rinamhota
Horvath - (£1.2m) - I would like to see someone like Danny Ward instead
Willock - (£1.6m) - For me doesn't set the world alight. We have replacements already
Turnbull - (£2.5m) - Celtic to Division3 in 12 months. I get it. And we will be able to replace him.

Figures in brackets are the value from transfermkt.

Transfermkt is way off I think.

If this is true it just sums up players attitude these days

All 4 of them were absolutely useless last season and a big part of the reason why we were relegated!!

NG is maybe the only one I would keep but the 2023 version not last season’s version though

The other 3 can go and won’t be missed…in fact it will be very good news if we can get them off the payroll

Re: I dont know how true this is?

Those four if sold will not be missed, all had a terrible season last time, my thought is that any player that wants to leave then let them leave, hopefully if we get money for them then the money should be given to BBM to help him build a squad for the future, only want players at the club who are prepared to give their all for the shirt and give 100% commitment every game for the club and fans.

Nothing to do with Murphy’s arrival.

To do with us being relegated to League 1 ( Div 3 ).

Let them go if that's what they want - no player was ever wanted in a Cardiff shirt unless they were prepared to give 150% effort and heart into their performance for our club.
Horvath is the worse 'keeper to ever wear a Cardiff shirt - even surpassing the depth of Frank Parsons who was always a minute away from his next mistake and a goal conceded!! Turnbull has left me underwhelmed ever since his arrival from up North. Injury prone and ineffective when he wasn't. Willock came with a big reputation from QPR but we soon were able to see through that smoke screen and to realise why QPR outed him!! Plenty of skill but no guts or determination to hurt the opposition. The last of the four is sad. Ng has never been the same player since last summer when his top class performances and the adulation of fans and the press turned the lad's head into expecting a move to a Premiership club which never happened and the lad has never got over it. His performances in our relegation season were abysmal and I don't think the lad will ever come back whilst at the City.

Musn't jump to conclusions but if it is true and they have asked to leave, get rid of straight away. Rats deserting a sinking ship would spring to mind. Apart from Turnbull who has quality even if he hasn't shown it, the others are lower Championship/ upper League One standard at best and should be grateful that we employ them. Hovarth and Willock will be very lucky to find a club in the Championship willing to take them, let alone pay them a comparable salary. I would be surprised if Ng has asked to leave unless there is an issue that has been responsible for his very poor form.

Let them go Hovarth is the worst keeper I have seen at City . N. G doesn't give a shit , Wilock one trick pony who always cuts inside because he doesn't have pace , Turnbull runs around like a headless chicken when he is fit.

None of them will be missed. NG was decent but lost everything that was good.
Free up some cash.....get rid

Wouldn't lose sleep if any of them left. Get some money in and get players who will run through brick walls for the shirt

If they want to go, terminate their contracts by mutual consent. There is no point them being here if they done want to. These type of players resenting relegation to div3 will only hinder and be negative with our youngsters. So be gone with you! We want positive positive positive at our club, that way we will do our best and get promotion.

No loss to Cardiff what so ever.
We need a few of these inconsistent players to leave and replace them with better.

I wouldn’t terminate their contracts as it actually means more money for them, as they can then demand a signing on fee if its pretty swift.

Personally id rather sell them for a pound so they didn’t get a signing on fee, but obviously the more money we can get for them then the better, so offer them out if they really want to go for a price that means a quick sale, we save their wages, get a fee for them and they cant get the signing on fee.

If we sell for a pound they still get a signing on fee.

The reason NG was think of leaving was because even when fit rhino was played in front of him, not a bit of wonder he lost heart, I cannot see NG going anywhere
