I just hope that BBM is allowed to bring in his own backroom staff etc, if it is only him coming and we carry on with Purse and all his cronies then I am afraid we haven't learnt anything by the relegation to League 1 and the shit show will go on, a DOF above BBM running that side of things would of been a show of intent by the club, but at the moment things again looks to be done on the cheap.
Like I have said if BBM comes on his own I really feel for our club in the upcoming season.

For gods sake give him a chance he hasn't got through the door yet and he's already been hammered.

I’ll be honest, initially wasn’t happy about this appointment.

But, maybe he had the Rochdale gig too early? He’s very well thought of as a first team coach.

He looks tactically flexible too, and he does have a reputation of bringing out potential of young players.
If he can tap into the undoubted potential of the Colwill brother, Ashford, Isaak, Robertson etc this will be an unbelievable season.

The key is the Colwill’s. If he can be the guy to finally bring the best of the BOTH of them, I’ve no doubt we will piss league 1.
Potential wise, Rubin is far above the division, however he continues to be so frustrating. If his ability can be properly utilised, we piss the Div.

He will be with us well beyond Christmas if he's a success.

Fans (and the board obviously) need to back him to give him the best chance of success.

If he doesn't deliver after 10-12 games, it's fair game to criticise him.

Something annoying me already about the new manager even though he’s still to be announced…

Can we either call him Brian or Barry, or BBM. Brian Barry Murphy what the heck.

I remember a guy in work, Frank who had five names!!! He was called Franky Alphabet

let hope after ten games next season we’re not saying he has more names than wins….

Not my choice by the way, he’s a coach not a manager! Another gamble and I hope this post doesn’t age well.

Well we don’t know that yet, many managers start as just coaches.

Good mind by the looks of it, tactician. Just hope he can motivate, lead, and piece everything together.

The first season Rochdale stayed up as the league never restarted after covid, so a points per game was awarded.

Following season they were relegated.

In a results business. They lost over 50 games! 30% win ratio
