If this latest Trust letter is also ignored then it’s time for the Trust to join the protest.

It's time the trust, supporters club and fab organised an official protest but they won't and my personal opinion is they don't want to upset the board cos they are all "in bed" with them and don't want to upset the apple cart.

Like I said, that's my opinion.

Re: Open invitation to the Trust and the FAB

Wed Jun 11, 2025 7:57 am

Absolutely agree.

It took me 4 yrs to get 13 Supporters groups to Unite to Finally Stand up to Tan and his Rebrand and Nearly 10,000 Marched and with in Months We were back to Blue.

The Trust and Fab are wasting their time with simple letters.

Re: Open invitation to the Trust and the FAB

Whatever your views
Right, left, centre.

I’m sure you can all agree that-
1. The club is run badly.
2. There's no continuity with supporters.
3. The fanbase is suffering.

Whether vocal present, boycotted, silent or even those fear even worse,,
You can’t be content on how the club is and has been for some time.

Surely we can Unite???
Set a mandate, a fans charter, galvanise.
Then
Once galvanised (As Annis said about back to blue), we can build to get him out.

We all have one thing in common

Cardiff City FC. :bluebird:

Maybe that will happen

I think rather than having arguments on here you lot should email the trust and ask them

At least then if you don't get a response from the trust you can say you have tried

This gossiping is all a bit daft

Re: Open invitation to the Trust and the FAB

Wed Jun 11, 2025 10:09 am

Has anyone tried to set up a combined action group?

For instance, a committee of two from the protest committee, two from the FAB, two from the Supporters Club, and two from the trust?

One joint committee with a plan and a schedule all mutually agreed including the how and when’s.

Re: Open invitation to the Trust and the FAB

Wed Jun 11, 2025 10:32 am

For the record, i have been on 3 of the 4 demonstrations.

But why are so many obsessed with the march/demonstration as the ultimate protest?

Many protested by not attending after red
Many protested by not buy any merch, drinks or food since the rebrand
Many protested by singing anti-Tan chants
Many protested by creating anti-regime posts on the internet
Many protested by various demonstrations
Many protested by writing multiple open letters to Tan that will get printed in the local newspaper
Many are protesting at the way the club is run by not renewing

I would suggest most on here, CCMB & X have been involved in over half of those.

Sheff Wednesday, our new model club, had a demonstration in April, which looked less attended than ours and they are a bigger club with a worse owner

https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/footbal ... ri-5101174

There are very few "Pro Tans" fans. If there was an answer to intransigent ownership, I am sure Man united, Reading or Wednesday fans would have found it by now. We live in different times.

The trust/Fab v the new gang is like a Monty Python life of Brian sketch. We are all on the same side.

Sian Bransons Bluebirds Unite was as I remember a push in that direction as the name states, I thought she did really well with it whilst even then still facing resistance from many City fans, and correct me if im wrong, no input from the groups in question on this thread, as I have said before, i want total unity, we are in crisis, a laughing stock to many, it has to stop, we have to unite.

We have to find a way and compromise and co-operate, it’s the only way we gain weight and the right amount of exposure to create any sort of impact. Tans lack of ownership causes division and toxicity, we are letting him win by getting sucked into tittle tattle and name calling myself included. (apologies to any members on here for my earlier name calling and generalising) I have often wondered what these groups do, arranging the safe travel aside what about the recent decline in fan experience in the CCS, fans being ejected for over celebrating etc!

I have not once had any contact from them apart from when a couple of fans were canvassing for being voted in, so it begs the question who is shouting my corner when I do my bit attending home and away and buying merch for my sons? What a massive opportunity for them to become that voice and request a united protest/petition/sit in/tennis balls whatever, we need that. I dont need a billionaire owner with buckets of transfer money, as I know some will, and thats fine, me I just I just want our club back, sensible, sustainable, football men, respectful, communicative, heritage protecting ownership :ayatollah:

And furthermore to these groups, in case they are worried about the impact on performance or the incoming manager |(whenever that is) a united protest or movement would have, we have proved we can protest with class and dignity, then leave the protest outside the ground and get behind the team and manager and roar them on to victory. Its not nonsense, its a call for unity when its needed the most, and childish? Please explain. its a very emotive time for us, so passion overspill is to be expected, doesnt make it right but its to be expected. Day 55 without a permanent manager, other clubs are nailing player recruitment, no comms from the club.

Thank you for clarifying the involvement for Sians march

Sludge,

The difference with us and the Trust is Massive:

We want action and fans to stand up and united and be Vocal.

They are pen pushers and like their little cosy room.

Teas and coffees.

I walk past every time and ALM they do is sat and stand talking to each other, never handing out leaflets etc

Thats my earlier point Annis, I go home and away, walk past their rooms, they advertise they are 'dedicated to representing the interests of Cardiff City FC fans' and ,Giving Cardiff City fans a voice in the strategic direction of our club' how is this achievable or possible when we dont have contact from them, are they just assuming? We need canvassing and surveys/fact finding from them, they need to work harder to communicate and promote unity, an email to season ticket holders or those with fan numbers purchase history, as you say leaflets etc. I think i filled in a couple of questionnaires a while back.
