Venue Ninian Park
Cardiff City v Chelsea
A day for the Terrace lads on both sides,
Biggest mob ever to come to Ninian Park,
Swamped us from early doors with huge numbers though Cardiff did put up good fight back.
All parts of Ninian Park their were battles, Chelsea even tried to take the Bob Bank:
Annis the Chelsea that did get onto the bob bank got a kicking and it was fully deserved
There were loads of photos in the western mail of them getting attacked including an old fella in front of us who was cracking them about the head with his walking stick
I had no sympathy for them at all
The group that came around the back of the Canton would have had no chance if they had got through there were hundreds waiting for them , that picture only shows the far corner
Chelsea, Leeds , United have all come unstuck over the years as far as I am concerned if you get involved in that group scrapping then if it all goes wrong that's tough
Bradford have given Leeds a right hard time over the years when Leeds set a chip van on fire at odsal stadium after the fire disaster Leeds fans were run out of the city back to the train station and its a long way from odsal back to Bradford Interchange
Chelsea and Leeds , always thought they were bully boys, don't like it back
