Too bloody right we should be doing this mate, over and over again until the circus has left town.

Unfortunately we now have a weak fan base who are content to let Tan and his clowns do what they want and ruin our beloved Bluebirds.

I hate what we as a fan base have become....... pathetic, a shadow of what we used to be and it hurts

You’ll have to forgive me for not standing outside the CCS on a random Monday night during the off season, whilst none of the board are even there.

... and there it is, the attitude I've just moaned about.

Bad publicity is what hurts Tan the most but people like you would rather stay in and watch Cory than fight for your football club :banghead:

Mike its not the 80'sor 90's anymore. This is a bigger game than then. You are not running them out of town anymore.

Billionaire overseas owners are a scourge of the British game, and they are in it for different reasons than Grogan, Kumars, Ricky wright or Sam. But even British owners have too much financially invested to concern themselves with the punters.

Manchester United are the ultimate we don't care club, but Spurs, Everton, Wednesday, Cardiff City, Reading, Blackpool, the list is endless. Blackpool fans stopped attending, but that took 4 years. United set up their own club and they were replaced by tourists. There are massive protests against owners who never attend, banners on planes that are reported in print and TV. Spurs constantly sing anti ENEC/Levy chants.

You have 2 choices......Don't attend or learn to accept the helplessness

No it's definitely not the 80's, if it were Tan would have gone by now.

Tan comes from a nation of very proud people, failure is not an option, bad publicity showing his failures will hurt him and his family. That's how we get him to sell up. He's had a few good offers.

Tan bought a championship playoff team for around £35 million, got promoted to the famous league twice, but has three relegations, and now is in League One, which I doubt many Malaysians even know exists. He has sunk an alleged £200 million into a club that is not worth £100 million

He has cornered the market in failure. There is no more face to save. He just wants to cut his losses

Good on them I say.

We should do the same but the fact there were only a few hundred of us before the Oxford game doesn't give me hope.

They had a mass protest at last home game all their protests have done nothing ...owner despite being hated more than tan turned down improved offer for club then two weeks later people dont get paid.... getting rid of owners is not simple as having demo after demo ask man u fans after 20yrs of protests what its achieved? A new club to support for those that walked away and that's it.

Allan
do you think the cardiff protest group are wasting there time doing demo after demo and accept tan is here to stay and just suck it up.? Have reading had some success protestesting.

Monty yes they can protest all they like but my point stands it does not achieve the departure of owners.... Reading protest didn't get rid of theirs it was fact that efl were going to throw them out of efl completely for his financial miss management of the club and other dubious practices..... look at sheff wed he is still there despite many protests bigger than city fans and he's twice failed to pay staff yet he's still there ... the picture is clear protest do not remove owners but fans can try and shouldn't stop trying.... I simply don't believe in there effectivness just my view.

I agree with the protesters that's why I joined in also, and will again if my missis does not blow her top again nearly 30 years marriage down the drain had to pull back.

Monty if had opportunity to go on march I would go on one but I won't go to lengths i need to to join
Protest like you got my other half to consider and time as well as distance... I want tan gone as much as next fan .....but despite what people say he as done nothing that efl can use against him as sheff wed saga as shown..... can have him for being a tw*t though!
Ps take her on a romantic getaway
That'll keep her quiet? :laughing6:

Just had 2 weeks abroad and 3 weeks in scotland just got back yesterday in motorhome should help

They're you go monty should be set gor couple of months..I'm on my getaway to Maldives back next weekend thought you were heading out west ?
My missis knows that city is a very close 2nd to her from me and protesting was a big thing for me but not for her but my hat is topped to all the protesters and the youngsters who need to carry the flag I will pass on my banner to the young ones and wish I could go back 30 years but I would not be with the missis today as I was to firery but disagree protests are a waste of time these are the people who force change rather than saying they are wasting there time but it's all about opinions but I lie with the radicals loud and proud.

Monty,

I’ve stood with you now a few times and Very Proud to have done this.

Your wasting your time with Pembroke Allan, Deeo down he’s Tan through and through and for a month I thought common sense had prevailed.

I thought he had put our Club First.

Monty your Passion is to be Fully Admired and not wasted on arguments with the likes off Allan.

Totally agree with you Annis.
But not a good look when one of its most passionate supporters has now turn his back on the protests. Unless I Misunderstood his post.

Not a good look when he has to travel from Pembroke and has his relationship to think of also?

Just because certain people put their relationship first, or in my case my heavily pregnant partner, does NOT mean we are turning our backs on the club. It does NOT mean we don’t care and it does not mean we don’t want Tan gone.

It might be because everyone is at different stages of life, or that they have things going on outside of football.

It may also be that the petition is calling for the EFL to check his fit and proper status. We all know that this isn’t going to happen. He might be an idiot but the bills are paid, the players and staff are paid, so they won’t even bat an eyelid.

If something meaningful was done in the right way, without the name calling by certain people, then maybe more people would get involved. The FAB, the Trust, etc all being bad mouthed, because they do things differently.

By the way just to clarify, not all of this response is in reference to what you posted, only the part about Allan. The rest of it was just me going off on a tangent.

That was all corrupt.

The Club has my email even sent me a receipt for my Seasin Tuckets.

But I like many others Never got emails???

The Trust or FAB will Never Demonstrate they would lose their right to the Meetings etc etc etc

What have they ever ever Achieved for the Fans.

For 4 yrs the Trust Refused to Demonstrate for Our Identity back.

I attended 50 plus meetings and 3 Demonstrations

I think I’ve been misunderstood, to be fair I didn’t explain myself very well at all.

Monty has come out as one of the biggest supporters of the protest, almost to level of the poster boy with his massive banner with his name on. And now for personal reasons he has had to step back. What I meant it was a blow to the protest group.

They are a Disgrace.

Wednesday Supporters Trust today issued a call to action, urging all Wednesday fans to unite in protest and bring all fans together against the bad management of their Club:

Wednesday fans to unite in protest against the management of the football club by Chairman Dejphon Chansiri, son of Kraisorn Chansiri, the former chairman of Thai Union Group, owners of John West Tuna. In releasing a damning risk assessment of Chansiri’s ownership, the Trust encouraged fans to march to Hillsborough as a show of solidarity, demanding change from the toxic club he has fostered.

The findings of a survey conducted by the Football Supporters Association reveal that 95% of Sheffield Wednesday fans have declared #EnoughisEnough,

This is what we should be doing,
