Unless Osian Roberts is on his way back from Lake Como to run the club, then its insane. He can't be player-manager, he never plays. How many other L1 clubs would offer the total rookie a job?

If he doesn't get it will Plymouth offer him the job. Wilshere has at least been coaching and an assistant for three years.

I didn't want an unproven manager again but Ramsey eats drinks and sleeps football and he loves this club.

Birmingham had a manager last year who was inexperienced and hadn’t even played professional football and he did alright.

Big question is why after club going through a cumbersome search have rambo been swayed to change his mind about retirement? You have to think he as been no 1 target from beginning otherwise why else would he still be in running despite the experienced managers available since riza sacking ? Is he cheap option time will tell because he will need to bring in experienced help something riza didn't have and that will cost club... also he surely as been given garauntees about players Coming in otherwise no way would he have taken this job as he fully understands tans ways of working .

They also had provably the biggest budget ever in that division and a giant squad of quality they where .bless ahead of anyone else is tan going to pump in 20 million this season.?

I wonder if Buckingham have told City where to go after the Jones escapade and City are panicking now and have pleaded with Aaron to take the job, and because of his love for the club he is willing to take the job, perhaps something has been said to him regarding the chances of him being able to fully recover despite having an operation on his hamstring injury. If this does turn out to be the case then I think he deserves to get all the backing from fans whether you want him or not, for him to give up on his dream to play for Wales at a World Cup would show his love for his hometown club. If it is him I wish him all the best for this season and the following seasons.

Chances are that Tan will get rid of him by Christmas and then he'll have no involvement with the club he loves.

Now is not the time to have this romantic idea of the local lad getting the managers job.

Happy for Ramsey to be given it but needs a long term contract and backed. Sporting director type to help as he needs Tan not getting in his way.

His links with Arsenal, Juve and profile in the game should help get some decent players in.
