Might just be an iGov type rumour on their board mind.

Is that really necessary when you started the thread? :?

Suppose it covers your backside, if it’s not true! ;)

On the topic, I wouldn’t blame him; but he would be missed :ayatollah:

He is the one most known for rumours on here.

It’s a rumour from someone posting not something official.

Appreciate that, mate. It just seems needless!

You put out OP so the rumours from you no one else! Guess your trying to be the next gov ? But its more an OG instead

He’s did mention that he saw it posted on an Oxford forum, and mentioned that he doesn’t know if it’s true or not.

He’s posted where he saw it, and said it might not be true.

It’s hardly what Roger does, which is post a name, say it’s definitely happening but refuse to even mention how or where he saw it.

Exactly Matt.

Nothing wrong with Maccys post and he admitted it’s a rumour.

The self appointed governor of the forums last statement was that Riza was staying as manager in League one as I recall.

Fair play maccy. At least you’re upfront and honest it’s a rumour and gave a detailed description of what you’ve heard. Rather that some loose cryptic statement that could mean anything.

Hope he stays though. Cheers for the post.

Lol. I was hoping to assist in your understanding but can’t mate. Makes no sense to me either, (mind you much like reading my dribble I’d imagine) other than a bit of white knighting for the sake of it.

Thank you Tan, this is what you get when you invest in crap management and a poorly run club, best players will leave and the shit will stay, like the board the shit stays.

Re: Callum O’Dowda to Oxford

Probably too good for L1 and if he has ambition, somewhere like Oxford would be a good fit.

He shows glimpses of being a top 6 player, but then also patches where not so much.

Definitely a good championship player and has improved his injury stats this last season.

Always gave his best, which is all I ask for.

Make it simple......it doesn't matter where you get information from whether its a club contact
From Internet/social media when you post on here your doing it in good faith ?.. so no need to make snide remark about igov as he posts in good faith just like OP of this thread as done ..

Anyone who does not want to stay and right their wrong shit show from last season then let them go, we need players who now want to fight to get us back up :bluebird:

Re: Callum O’Dowda to Oxford

Good luck to him if true.

He does not deserve to be a league one player.

If he left, I would of hoped it would have been to a better team than Oxford, but it just shows how far we have fallen.

Bad times... and before anyone who's been supporting us for 100 years says... I know we have been in worse places.

Good luck to him....expected bigger clubs to come in for him. Hopefully some decent fee for a quality championship player

I'd say a lot of better clubs would be a better option for the lad , surely his wage would be a big challenge for Oxford?

Top paid player at Oxford is 17.5k Matt Phillips.

I think CoD could expect about 15k which would probably match his Cardiff wage.

Talk on the mb is that the fee is very minimal due to release clause.

I agree mate.
He’s only just signed a new contract so they’d need to buy that off us before any fee comes into it.

Injury prone, isn’t great at either position.

Isn’t a top champ level player at all.

He’s mid to lower end championship. That’s oxford’s level. Under Rowett they had top 7 form.

He also is an Oxford boy who lives in Oxford.

I agree with this.

He's hard working and a decent Championship player for a mid to lower Championship side.

Some of our fans wildly overestimate his ability. Especially on the wing, when he struggled whenever he got his chance.

I think he'd do a decent job for Oxford but he's never going to attract interest from the top teams in the Championship.

As to the fee, I expect there was a relegation release clause for all those who signed a new contract towards the end of the season.

But good luck to him, gave his all so don't hold anything against him.

Maccy- Does Rowett use 3 at the back, he is a solid wingback.

He is a left midfielder in a 442, but they are extinct nowadays. He doesn't fit a 4231 except shoehorning into full back

He does use 3 at the back sometimes.

He plays wingers really but occasionally a flat midfield which would suit CoD.

When you say majority you mean about 4 of the squad of 25 plus players right? CoD would be 4th again.
