Much much too early to put Ramsey in charge for next season, an experienced manager is defiantly needed needed who has experience of getting teams out of league 1.
Rambo should finish his playing career first wether its at the CCS or some where else then think about doing his coaching badges and get into management the proper way, I can not believe the amount of time people blamed Tan for not hiring an experienced manager and now all of a sudden people are ok with Ramsey, beggars do believe sometimes with our fickle fans.
Annis is right and Ramsey should wait until his playing career is over and take things from there.
If its not at this club then I will wish him all the best.

Surely this thread is immaterial as he’s made it clear he wants to carry on playing and would not be willing to take the role of a player/coach?
My view is we should not renew as a player. A complete waste of time and money.

Agreed about him playing Paul.
But the media keep running it about the managers job

Getting an experienced manager does not make it a low risk appointment.
Intelligent, high level, players like Ramsey, in my opinion, are better placed to change and built club cultures.
Would you really want someone like Warnock or McCarthy in now to change the structure ?
At some point our club has to nail it’s colours to the mast and give a young ambitious manager the room to grow as a manager and, more importantly, grow the club.
Look at Bournemouth, they took a gamble on Eddie Howe. The Jacks have loads of gambles on inexperienced managers, from Martinez onwards and the majority have worked. Luton had Edwards. Speed for Wales. Bellamy for Wales. The list goes on.
It’s much more important to get the right man at the right time. To me Ramsey is worth a try, particularly in Div 1.
We’re not going to attract a high quality established manager anyway at this level so why not go with Ramsey and let him pick his coaching team and then, most importantly, hold our nerve and give him time to change things.

I think Ramsey last interview shows he has a desire for the role in some form. The issue is how broken we a club we are above the manager. If Ramsey can manage those above to his standards then he should take the role on conditions they are not broken....
