League 1 and league 2 were the best days for days out. First couple of seasons in the championship were fun as it was new and exciting and nothing like it is nowadays. Premier league was awful we attracted loads of hangers on that were more interested in watching the other teams and that for me was the beginning of the division.

Agreed mate. The Premiership was a completely underwhelming experience.

89-90 season when i first started going. Crowds of 2 to 3000 and then we drew QPR in the cup and had 13600 and felt claustaphobic

Brilliant days mate and hardly any of them during our supposed most successful times.

1975/76 promotion season, played some good football, players like Willie Anderson, Mike England, Clive Charles, Alston and Evans up front, some class players there. Final away game at Bury where promotion was clinched, all on the pitch celebrating, what a night that was.

First game was in 74 I loved the 93 season the most of all and after that is was when my kids came down every game from early 2000 to 2014 The joy of being at the football with my boys made even the bad games feel better Seeing my boys celebrating our win over QPR and then promotion to premier league and two cup finals Great times

My first really happy moment watching the City, was when they beat Leeds United 3-1 in the final game of the 1951-52 season to get promotion to the “old” First Division. There was a crowd of over 52,000 there that day.
Leeds United played a big part in City’s FA Cup history over the next few years. Amazingly, City were drawn away to Leeds in the 3rd round of the cup, three years running in the 1955/6, 1956/7,and 1957/8 seasons. More amazingly, the result was the same for all matches - 2-1 to the City. I remember listening to the football results on the radio for the last match, and could not believe it was the same result - what were the odds on that happening?

Sam Hammam division 3 Ninian Park.
The last manager who actually cared for the fans and the club.
Full stadium, electric atmosphere, we had identity, fight, passion and a dream to believe in.
And every game you were buzzing.
And most importantly it was our club.
We sadly lost all of that.
