Dobbin, they're probably confused about why an athlete is giving them football training when they really want to see the talented Damon Searle showing them how it is done!

Daya, kick me when I'm down why don't you!

hI,
i run an u 13s side and have always taught the kids to play football just by passing and moving we use to get slaughtered at
u 8s and 9s dont think we won a game but since we have been on a full size pitch teams cant cope because they cant have johny standing on the goal line waiting to tap the ball in.
It does do my head win when you face a team that know there not going to beat you at football so they take the other root and try and kick shit out of the kids.

Surely sprint training is pointless with children at such a young age? Physical fitness training and conditioning can't have any impact until the years entering teenage years I thought?

I'm the youngest brother in my family Daya I am determined to keep bugging you! :)

Saying that, I have work to get on with so this madness must end soon.

Very true... especially with Premier League stickers in hand that might not have been paid for!

I wonder if AAMB could set up a youth academy and we then 'sell players onto Cardiff'. That way we could ensure that Bristol and Swansea don't steal our players. :)

Be banned by Gethin Jenkins probably , so would have to take to Bristol and others  thats how it normally works.

Right must dash- got to go and meet 2 players prior to tonights game who have signed for Cardiff and play for Wales.

They were going to go to Man Utd , till we sorted it - that was before the Gethin Jenkins policy! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Today in the same event they would go to Bristol or somewhere else thanks to Gethin and his policy!

Says it all.
