Who told you mate as looks like it's not true
I’ve seen a few posts on X saying he’s gone too, I’m waiting for the official word from the club if it is true

ALL TO LATE IN MY EYES
Have!!!

Even in the unlikely event that he has been sacked by this inept circus of a board all that will happen is Purse will take over for Blackburn and then we will all be waiting over the international break for news and saying how if the board acted quicker a new manager would have at least had time. There will be no appointnent made and Purse will be no different to Riza.
Dalman, Choo and of course Tan himself are to blame for this entire s***show of a season. Doing it on the cheap was suicide and relegation is going to cripple us if it happens, which is looking a ceetainty for me and I am usually optimistic.

What happened to all the protests that were supposed to come about
Wed Mar 12, 2025 8:20 am
I've heard this too and it's credible. In any case, one way or the other Riza is out of the club and quite a few of our players should also be questioning themselves after last night's dreadful show, when they should have been playing with a siege mentality, both for the club and their manager, if indeed they really respect him that much.

What could go wrong
I don’t think he’s played the same team twice
O’Dowda plays well left back.
Chambers is better in midfield than centre back.
Colwill’s best position isn’t really decided yet.
Robertson has been our form midfielder and can play 10

It’s clear the players are massively lacking in confidence, some of them looked like they couldn’t make easy passes last night through anxiety.
I’ve always felt with Riza that he has been trying to be too clever with team selections and changes in game, making changes for the sake of showcasing his tactical nous.. it hasn’t worked! Players are in one day, out the next, there is no continuity in selection and style and you end up with the mess we had last night where players don’t know their roles and what they are meant to be doing - that is all on Riza.. 4 wins in twenty odd games is nowhere near good enough with the squad at his disposal.

Have you heard any whispers Wez?
Nothing which says to me he's staying sadly

Sure they’d have announced it by now
Wed Mar 12, 2025 11:48 am
Just shows how inept and gutless the board and Tan are
Wed Mar 12, 2025 12:04 pm
I personally think he's got the Blackburn game to get a result or he's out. If he had been relieved of his duties it would have been announced already I'd imagine.
As others have said I didn't mind Riza, until last night. His constant tinkering and playing people out of their main position ruined last night. Rubin as a winger just doesn't work, and Robertson can't play as an effective 10. Then to bring on Robinson as a 10 was just utter stupidity. And that's just one thing he got wrong last night. I also do think that the players have to take the majority of the blame though for not showing any fight at all.

I can't understand why the club are delaying the announcement of the sacking of Omer Riza.
I hope you've got your facts right as word of this has spread like a wildfire.
If you are wrong, with 'egg on your face' you could no longer believe your sources in future!

I can’t argue with that!

Hope it’s true and we get someone who knows what they are doing in , think it took a while for Bulut to be announced they probably gotta sort out severance pay etc .

Annis, genuine question. Who would you pick?
Well bank in September I put 5 managers on here available and I would of had any of them.
Now most have jobs.
Tan won’t pick a manager who won’t be Dictated to.
For the remaining 9 games, I would bring Warnock, but def not for next season.
I’d go with Rambo as manager, bring in Warnock and his team to aid and teach him, impart their wisdom on him and then run with him as manager next season
Warnock as director of football?

Another big error which personally I think shows he's not upto job was his use of subs? I've Always questioned them but last night was the worst I've seen! The 3 subs xshpuld been brought on 15 mins earlier to give them more time to influence game because before subs nothing had changed so wasted 15mins game Time..... then when they scored 2nd on 70mins 100% of coaches would have brought on a striker given the situation but no he waits until 80min to bring on mete why? Striker was needed immediately....... to me this shows total lack of understanding of the game and a massive failure of him and his coaching staff to try change the game

You could well be right, nothing would suprise me with these 3 lunatics running our club. Why would you give him one more game when he's only won 4 of the last 24.??
Wed Mar 12, 2025 2:57 pm
Mehmet Choo Tan please get rid of Riza and the back room staff and bring someone in to save us, we are fkd with his inexperience. Once we go down we won’t come back up it will be a double relegation. Why has he got the job in the first place he took Leyton Orient to the non league. That’s not an achievement ffs. Do the right thing .

Not going to get anyone in before Saturday so no option bit to hold off until after game but hopefully they'll change coach even if manage to win.... but no confidence we'll win any games in remaining 9? as going 9 games without a win can last lot longer than that
Wed Mar 12, 2025 3:44 pm
He has to go before Saturday.. I have supported him all along but last night was unjustifiable!
The players didn’t seem to have a clue what system to play.
Alves kept drifting inside, no service to Salech, he needs someone up front with him and a winger to put in crosses!
Omar, Tom, Darren and Shaw are a disaster..
If we can’t get a manager in before the weekend put Ramsey in temporary charge for Saturdays game.
We can’t afford to go on like this.. the players need to also take a good look at themselves..
Wed Mar 12, 2025 5:25 pm
Sven, is your source still telling you this is correct?
I hope so
Wed Mar 12, 2025 6:00 pm
Even if the info is correct, I believe that this should’ve happened after the abysmal Oxford performance. Would 9 games be enough to steady the ship for a new manager, I don’t know.
It’s a difficult situation to be apart of, I hope things turn around and we stay up or I can see us staying I. League 1 for a long time.
The cheap option hasn’t worked and Tan will have to pay the price. Poor decisions for the last 4-5 years have cost us massively in my opinion.

The protests have come out of the woodwork again funny that now we struggling again, get a few wins or stay up and they soon be gone again, but we’re still be running shit we have been for years and years and that’s why we in the mess we are we should be protesting to get tan out regardless because we ain’t going anywhere with these clowns in,tan was meant to come in and take us to the next level but he’s failed and a lot of that is down to himself
Wed Mar 12, 2025 7:16 pm
if he were to be sacked then the board would simply put pursey in his place.
problem with our club is that there is no clear plan for the club in the next 5 years.
they would rather the club get worse and not do anything concrete about it and get managers like mccarthy and neil harris on the cheap.
nothing will change
sadly we are destined fo league 1
we lack the quality throughout our club
poorly run from the top.
we cant keep begging warnock to return when he is retired.
although choo and damin were watching at the stadium last night and ccfcinsid3r has put a post on socials that the hierarchy at cardiff are getting fed up with him
