We failed last time because we held on to Bale, Ramsey and Allen for too long when we should have been bringing the kids through.
He’s not good enough for that team now.
He will get injured in the first game also.
WC failed because of pages tactics can't lay blame on 3 players when whole team failed... but would you give up chance of going to WC if had chance? He's not to old yes injuries a problem at moment but all players can have bad run you'll find plenty been out for a many months/year and have another injury 2 weeks after returning it happens... I'm not saying he should get a contract but I believe he won't retire at end season but next season if he continues to miss extended periods of games he may well give up his ambition of WC but not now.
If you were Bellamy would you want him anywhere near the Welsh squad for the WC after he’s played 9 games out of a possible 68?
I know I wouldn’t.
I think I would & I would bet good money that Bellamy will put him straight into the squad when he's fit. Maybe not in the starting 11 but certainly in the squad.
We need to keep him around in some capacity, be it in a coaching role/under 21 mgr. or on a pay as you play sort of thing because I'm convinced he would be good for the youngsters to be around.
I agree there's more to a footballer than kicking a ball.
Ramsey has been even less useful than Kanga.
At least Kanga can actually get on the pitch.
The main part of being a footballer, is being able to kick the ball.
Have to agree with you.
If Ramsey was on 5k a week then I'd probably say "well at least he's not being paid much, let's give him more time".
But he's on big money. Money we shouldn't be playing for a player that won't even play in 25% of the games.

So we are saying city only paid for rambos footballing skills and anything else is immaterial or a bonus that the club as most certainly benefitted from ? Can't argue that city haven't got what they primarilly paid for but does anyone know the conditions of contract other than the money? Because I remember rambo being front and centre at promoting community aspects of club ... can I see club dropping rambo no I can't so something will be worked out unabling him to carry on until WC at ccfc....many on here have written him off for scrap heap suspect he hasn't .

Well why does a club usually buy a footballer? To play football.
If it’s to do with promoting the club then it’s even more of a reason to get rid of him. Crowds going down, haven’t seen any such promotion of the club by him.
Don’t see why some still defend him.
If it was someone like Meite who played the same amount as Ramsey, then there would be calls for his head.

Ramsey is one of our finest, ever. Likely make a best 11 Welsh, ever. Wash your mouth out putting Meite in the same sentence.

Seriously now, did you think through a post comparing Miete to Ramsey in relation to Cardiff City? You're fishing for bites at this point. I bet you'd get into a disagreement in a monestary.

It was an example, it wasn’t ’fishing for bites’ but if it was then you’re the donut who bit.
Anyway, have a good evening.

If only he was 20 odd again although he wouldn't be here long then that's for sure

This is a good post and is realistic.
I understand people like that he came back but to think that he chose to come back here instead of going to a big club is just holding on to what he used to be.
He isn’t good enough anymore unfortunately, in his head the same Ramsey he has always been, but he isn’t capable of it anymore. If he was still capable of what he used to be, he wouldn’t be here.
