Riza is intrim at club level we need an experienced man at cardiff bellamy i would have been happy as he has the experience.

Experience for a few years with Burnley as an assistant they got promoted and then relegated. Get your rose tinted glasses off.

Completely different managing an international team compared to a club team. That's why some managers start off as international managers, it's far less intense - Giggs and Carsley are two examples.

Like Monty says, Bellamy also has the experience of coaching Anderlecht and Burnley. Riza has done a few years coaching at Watford and that's it.

The fact that Bellamy himself admitted that he couldn't handle club management but can manage Wales sort of proves my point.

That’s a fair point . But still feel Riza needs more time.

Strange how things work out in this tournament - Win your game and see what happens on the last matches ...

Wales did what they had to do tonight and the bonus was Turkey lost - Wales Promoted to League A .

Bellars - the backroom staff and players have done their job - And are Unbeaten ...Job Done

Better at 10 than Cullen, that's a dead cert. Sheehan and James got decent work rates.

What are you basing that on?

Harris and Cullen did very well together.

The fact that Cullen plays as a striker week in, week out and Rubin plays as a 10 week in, week out; in the same division.

They did play together, Cullen was outstanding and Harris did what he's good at; pulling the team up the park and busting a gut. I didn't see how Harris at 9 and Cullen at 10, at international level could work. I got that wrong, but stick by Rubin being a better 10 than Cullen.

That's what I'm basing that on.

McKenna only had experience at U18, so I’m not sure I agree.

I don’t think Colwill would have done what Cullen did yesterday. I think Cullen is ahead of Colwill in his development currently. Certainly he’s more likely to be getting a move soon.

Cullen won't be getting a move soon as he was touted around in the summer, and recently signed a new deal. IF he maintains that performance yesterday, which he hasn't done his whole career, then he'll deserve a big move. Can't see it myself and I see Rubin having a far more fruitful career.

Cullen had the game of his life yesterday. He hasn't scored 2 with 2 assists in any other appearance to date (according to a report I read earlier). Hats off to him.

Excluding my opinion though.....
Colwill Fotmob rating is 7.05, 1 Goal and 3 Assists this season
Cullen Fotmob rating is 6.4, 2 goals and 0 assists this season

Comparing apples to car tyres. Rubin has more skill in his toe nails than James has in his arsenal. James can boss a game better than Rubin. It's like comparing Gazza with Roy Keane.

Christ, what has Cardiff City done to you in a previous life?

It’s not really about Cardiff City.

It’s about recognising other players who are good.

Had just as much wisdom as your sarcastic posts that you put.

“What has Cardiff City ever done to you?”

That was the most inventive, out of the box reply I’ve ever seen in all my years, to someone having their own opinion.

Please do teach me all of your ways, Grand Master Sarcasm.

At end of day it's bellers opinion that matters on who is best for the team... and he obviously thinks Colwill is not quite right for his team at moment... nothing to do with who's better or talented if they don't suit game plan...

I thought it might get some mention on the BBC. Breakfast the following morning. Not a mention on national BBC. (Imagine if it was England!) Maybe they should change the BBC to EBC! (Or even IBC). :bluebird:

That’s fine. But it does affect one’s credibility to be so blatantly biased.

With regards to Colwill and James. It was said Colwill should be picked over James.

FYI, James scored 8 in 42 in a struggling Birmingham side. Not sure about the skill in toe nail analogy.

1. I'm not on here for credibility. 'Maccydear' means zero to me, in reality. As said before, this is words on a screen. I come back for Cardiff City reasons and the odd debate.
2. James had a great season last year, but him and Colwill are different players. I didn't compare goals, I compared style of play. As you, I also watch alot of football (as you eluded to in a previous post where you got personal, twice and then said I know nothing about football :laughing6: )
3. You went very quiet when we were ping-pong-ing about Colwill vs. Cullen at #10; which was a significantly better debate than the following one-upmanship.

Boring now though isn't it, and a thread of differing opinions without any form of resolution. See you on the next one... :D

I was busy at work.

I think the fact Bellamy is picking Cullen and not picking Colwill says that all needs to be said with that one.

I hope Colwill becomes a superstar for Wales. Some of his play (when receiving the ball and making space) is clearly premier league class as his is strength on the ball. However, his fitness isn’t good enough, he doesn’t actually impose himself fully on games and should be able to do that now. Him and Tanner work well together but he doesn’t do the same with the left winger. James was able to impose himself on championship games last year and Cullen very much did it for Wales the other night.

I hope premier league teams take Cullen first as that will be bad for the Jacks and good for Colwill to stay with us.
