I said in an earlier thread that this had banana skin all over it and yet again we break someone's losing/poor streak. We like giving a helping hand it seems.

Dreadful all over the pitch .
Made a poor Brum look ok .
Can’t believe so many City players were so far off the pace .
Top 6 based on tonight looks far fetched .
Roll on January

We need more than that like ditching some of these players from last season. I would put Colwill and Robinson at the top of the list.
Not a huge fan of Colwill but I think he was the best of a bad bunch today. Tried to get us going but didn’t seem to happen for whatever reason.
Agree Colwill tried and he did get some good passes off, had to come super deep later second half to get the ball. Wingers kept running into players lossing the ball.
Back to the old problem of the front 3 pushed right up spread apart standing around, we cant get the ball to them so it goes backwards.
Wingers need to play off the front man, there just so much space its imposible to build anything. Should of gone 442 in second half

Lots of issues tonight but without Ralls and/or Ramsey there is no cohesion & nobody between the defenders & forwards with enough foresight to do anything sensible with the ball except run into dead ends.

It's simply inept, that was as bad as anything Morison served up!!!
McGuiness is not John Stones, he is a stopper, constantly rolling the ball out to him and Brum let us !! Out coached by Rooney is a shocker.
They are so over-coached its ridiculous, can anyone on the field change it? No one makes runs as they know the ball needs to do the 15 passes to the keeper centre halves back to the keeper....The ball over the full backs head was on all game but no one plays it
Sadly, I think Bulut has been sussed a bit and needs to respond with an adapted game plan or he'll be back in Turkey pretty soon

Yeah, we never see the FBs go past the half way line either, there just no options when we get it up front and we end up turning the ball over

team of free transfers and loan signings doing considerably better with nearly half the season gone than last season - 6pts better which equats to 15 points at the season end. They've played out of their skins for 3and a half months and now the cracks are showing. We'll be much better with 3 or possibly 4 new players in January. But if they're bang average we'll be amongst the dross pretty quickly.

Whats the world record for pointless backwards passes?
Looked like a Swansea tribute act

Where do I begin!!!!
We’re missing midfield and attack…. Losing Perry so early tonight was a kicker but not all to blame for tonight’s lack of performance.
You can see the tired legs and the lack of ideas.
Absolutely no pressing of the defenders or keeper, when they did the ball was rushed which showed that they didn’t like being pressured. And as for us playing between McGuiness, Goutas and Runnerson he’s a liability, riding his luck, been a few times they’ve almost been caught out. He hasn’t got the confidence to be doing that.
There’s nobody making any runs and when they do the balls gone the other way. Even for throws nobody is showing. Nobody seems to want to take a shot, just pass is sideways and sideways and back and sideways and back
We need Rambo back even if it’s just for half hour a game at the moment? Half hour of Rambo is better than sod all…. January’s transfer window can’t come soon enough, hopefully we get Keifer in the door early and a few new players instead of prolonging the window.

I've thought the same thing this last few weeks. He needs to take the blame for our inept performances recently.

Stupidest comment of the year.
At last! Some sense...!
He (Bulut) must have been pretty damn lucky so far, if that were to be true...!
What I will say, is that if we continue to play like that, many more will stay at home in the warm...!

Agree! Over coached to f**k.
They seem to play diagonal balls when it’s not warranted and then play tight passes into the full back who has a winger on his toes.
I’ve always hated tippy tappy unless it’s Barca or Man City. It’s about winning not how many passes you make.

To me, this is the most sensible post of the night. We badly missed someone to systematically drive the team forward. I know Ralls has had some criticism, but the team plays better when he is there. And of course Ramsey too.
On a more positive note, the defence is still fairly solid ( I though Romeo did well when he came on for NG), and there was no shortage of effort from the players - just the execution.
We are no better and no worse than about 14 other teams in this league - I suspect that all of them have performed good and bad at different times and their fans are reacting in the same way as ours.

Our fans don't need the excuse of crap football to stay at home
We could be top of the league and some would find something else to do
