have you heard any names jones is after in the loan market?

Dyer - there's a 3 month deal on the table.
Stupid, if you ask me. We don'y need another one of these floaty midfield type players.
Is that official or pure speculation?

Speculation. I'm trying to confirm it tho. Interesting to see if Lord has heard anything definitive.

My contacts are currently asking the questions on any names that we are interested in brining in on loan.

Thanks Carl
Has anyone ever felt so confident about things before?
Its only just clicked in my head that the Premier League is not a pipe dream
anymore. It is inevitable. Imagine that, its hilarious. The only inevitability
I've ever know in nearly thirty years of watching this club is that it was always
inevitable that we would be shit
The jacks must be absolutely devastated. Its been weeks now since we've had
one come on here and tell us we're going bust etc etc

Brilliant - thanks Carl
It'd be a bit controversial should Bellamy play on Saturday.

We met VT on level 4 on Tuesday with what I assume was his family and children, they were happy that we had exchanged pleasantries. VT appeared surprised by the welcome he was getting...

Vincent Tan has told DJ that he is able to bring in more loan players if he feels it is necessary and that there will be money made available in January for the big push, this would sound like music to the ears of DJ, it is what he has wanted for previous seasons and it seems that his wishes are coming true. Obviously this brings added pressure and DJ knows like everyone else at the club, they want success and he must deliver it.
Great update Carl!
Would be nice to know what Vincent Tan thought about the booing on Tuesday though, as I think it serves no purpose and it would surely have made him realise, that we have quite a fickle set of fans!
Getting him to do the Ayatollah one minute and a few minutes later, booing the team, that he is funding!
Personally I think that we have been spoilt over the past few years, as although the team have served up a few disappointing performances, I've gone to watch match after match (especially during the past 3 seasons), where we've always gone into the matches with a good chance of winning, including Arsenal remember, when we ran them ragged for the first half at Ninian Park 2 seasons ago and should have gone in at half time leading, against Chelsea a few months ago!

Yes I Agree, was going to have a word with Baz, he knows someone at a reasonable price

Thanks Carl
I agree with your comments on the Ninian and my wife and I had breakfast there before Millwall and we thoroughly recommend it. We also took advantage of the two pint glasses (plastic ) prior to the Crystal Palace game. The owner also owns the Pantmawr in Rhiwbina and he had his landlord Chris down the Ninian helping out. As you say, use it or lose it.

great reports thanks Carl and I for 1 can confirm the efforts made by the new owner of the Ninian and I must say that the bar area is looking good with City pics on the walls and the 2 pint glasses are a godsend when its busy
Prices brill too and for me its 55p a pint cheaper than drinking in the CCS and I can guarantee that from now on the Ninian will have 4 extra customers every home game ................ my 1st time in there for about 3 or 4 years maybe longer ?

We desperately need cover for Jay, and possibly another defender, thanks for the update.

Not surprised to see VT assessing the CCFC staff and sorting a few out.
Also interesting to see him giving DJ a great deal of power and resource to build his squad. The thing with successful businessmen is they give their managers authority, resources and responsibility. They can then see the good ones succeeding and the less good ones failing, with no excuses to hide behind.
I have no doubt he wants the team in position to push for promotion come December and will fund some additions to push on if they are. However, having invested what he has I have no doubt he will move DJ on if they are nowhere near whether he likes him or not.
On Tuesday I bet DJ had a shiver down his spine at the performance and booing. VT will not have liked that showing on all counts as successful people hate any sort of failure as they take it personally.
I actually think DJ is quite a good manager but I have had an issue for a long while with his inability to generate a consistant fighting spirit amongst his team which you need in the championship. There seems to be an arrogance there that pervades the whole set up where they seem to think they are better than they really are on and off the pitch and therefore don't feel the need to scrap for things.
Standing back, we are much better off as a club on and off the pitch than we have been for years but with it comes higher expectations all round. Good people thrive on that, less good ones can't live with it and go under. Time for DJ and some of the team to decide which camp they are in and enjoy the pressure not crumple under it. With the money their all on they are paid well enough to justify it.
