Without pre-empting, signing Lennon Peake would be a coup for our club once up to required fitness levels. The irony of that being had we signed him during the transfer window, he woukd have had quite a few U-23:games under his belt now...

He is highly rated and wants to come here over several other interested clubs, including his current club West Ham United and Norwich City

Whoever it is, unlike you, I will welcome the new signing to this club...

What i stated that in this instance and our current situation I hope it is not Peake I want someone who is ready to play in the first team Peake in the last few years ( mostly injured ) has not shown that he would get into the match day squad never mind the starting 11 I have not seen Peake play and most people would not have seen home play I assume you have seen him

Yes, thanks to the wonder of modern technology, I have seen Lennon Peake in action and it was impressive. The previous manager, his coaching staffs and those he trained/played alongside in his lengthy 'trial' were massively impressed and the only surprise is the the club didn't seal the deal when they could

Like others who have seen what he could do for us, I am over the moon we have (a) attracted him here, and (b) he wanted to come here, despite other attractive offers...

I’d like to see a general/enforcer in midfield, who won’t be bullied by any opposition.

Hardly a secret and those who knew were worried it may not come off; but it did and we couldn't be more pleased. If Lennon Peake lives up to his obvious talent, then we (as a support base) should be excited...

Like yourself Abergavenny, I too was hoping it would be someone who can help our current situation, preferably a left back.
But also like you, I welcome Lennon Peake to Cardiff City and look forward to seeing him play, hopefully this season

I trust Lamouchi so I’m pleased with this signing.

Although I would point out that people were questioning Wickham’s injury record and he was a proven Prem level player !!

Peake’s potential seems beyond question but he’s hardly played a first XI game and his injuries have to be a concern.

I hope that we have finally unearthed a gem but I wonder why people are more excited by Peake than Colwill or Davies who already have first XI experience ?

I would be pleasantly surprised if we see him in the First XI this season.
