That was awesome from Kipre. Stepped in to dispossessess Morris on halfway and then drove into Luton's box before fizzing a pass to Robinson, which was just cut out at the last gasp.

Excellent from the defender, though.

Why didn’t Kipré shoot then

Woodrow stands a cross up to the back post and Adebayo leaps to head at goal - but it's comfortable for Allsop.

Surprise surprise…. Codey Dramah looks head and shoulders the best player on the pitch so far

Who is shouting?
Is it the Luton manager or ours

Amari'i Bell with a wicked cross and McGuinness, diving towards his own goal, does equally well, nodding behind for a corner.

Just a matter of time..... We have absolutely nothing out wide

Game just passing Sawyers by

Morris outleaps Ng, but sends his header wide.

Only one team in the game so far Luton

Good break from Cardiff and Ojo pops in a dangerous cross - but it's headed clear with Robinson looking to pounce.

Robinson registers a shot on target - but he's flagged for offside.

Time to offload ralls I think, I used to be his biggest defender but in the last couple of years I'm struggling to see what he does other than give away stupid fouls or pick up loads of bookings

Think sawyers should come off for colwill, his passing is shocking and doesn't look bothered

Jesus he had to take him out as it was a fcuking shocking corner from Wintle that put us in trouble

Same old same old……

He’s had 45mins of proper football to see for himself how poor we are at the moment, now to work the magic boss…. C’mon city

Totally agree

Any player for any team would have made the same tackle, take one for the team, get back and regroup, easier than giving the chance for an attempt at goal

Ojo and Robinson look pretty Sharp. Let down by wintle,Ralls and Sawyers. Same old story really. Drameh looks a class act at this level

The championship is well beyond Sawyers nowadays, his legs have gone and Ojo has absolutely no end product

It really is a shallow limited squad

Wintle and Ralls kills us. One or other

Luton will score after about 10 mins of the 2nd half and game over,we have nothing, only saving grace is our new manager can now hopefully see wat he has to tinker with.

Or Wintle expected histeam mates to make the correct run?

Either way, danielrees17 is excelling himself with an abject display of football tactical ignorance...

Otherwise, not too bad a half from the Bluebirds, who slowed the game when required but countered well when the opportunies presented :ayatollah:

HALF-TIME SCORE: LUTON TOWN 0 - 0 CARDIFF CITY

Usual story. The defence have done very well, but virtually no threat upfront. We looked most dangerous when Kipre Ng and then Simpson ran with the ball from the back. We have no physical presence upfront. Robinson proving (again) that he is not a lone striker.
Hopefully Sabri Labouchi will get Davies and Etete into the game sooner rather than late. Eteye is nowhere near the finished product, but he has more to offer than our present frontline.
(With luck MAYBE Kaba can make a BIG difference. :bluebird: :bluebird: )

I can handle two sitters but we are playing 2 centre halfs as full backs with Sawters with Harris and Ojo as the width.....Jesus it's so defensive, perhaps that's the plan

The worse thing is I am watching the New V Soton game and they seem to be able to run with the ball at some pace. Our game really is for championship purists, its an arm wrestle.....

but we are still in :ayatollah:

Ojo takes, but it's way over the bar. Poor effort.

Decent stuff this with the Bluebirds looking to press Luton at every opportunity. That alone must impress the new manager, as the game ebbs and flows from one end to the other

Some good performances here from the Bluebirds and we are still in this game

Great move down the left side sees Ojo feed Wintle nicely but a good challenge see the ball go for a Luton goal-kick

LATEST SCORE: LUTON TOWN 0 - 0 CARDIFF CITY

Mpanzu skins Sawyers and hits a low cross - McGuinness there to clear again. He heads away the subsequent cross from the corner too.
