Hopefully, some admin clerk is making the decisions, Wales will see an improvement, I'd be embarrassed introducing him to my English mates as my cleaner let alone the Leader of the Welsh Joke assembly.

Was probably best thing they did but they didn't put in restrictions like paracetamol calpol ect it's no wonder gp surgeries are full you see same people there several times a week.... reason I say it's best thing is I need 5 tablets a day unlike people that generally are on benefits I'm not entitled to free prescriptions ... so would cost me a lot ..... think you could count on one hand good policies from WG in its 20yr existence that are good for everyone not just a few people...

Might not impact many on here but free school breakfasts was massive for many kids who's parents aren't feeding them too.

Regulation of care staff (in place in Wales but not England) has also meant some care staff in homes are suspended/barred from practicing in the sector if theyve mistreated service users. In England many care staff can just hop to a new care home if fired for conduct reasons, but mandatory registration and regulation in Wales has stopped this and arguably made our care sector a much safer place for our elderly/vulnerable.

Im not a massive Drakeford fan, but if it's a choice between senedd and the shitshow in Westminster (including the unelected and massively out of touch house of lords), then I'll take Welsh government any day of the week.

Not much of a choice then? Problem is for every good policy theres 3 or 4 bad ones and there lies the problem for voters and perhaps explains why valleys ect vote labour and no one else... take the 2nd home charge or holiday let rules whatever you want call it.... looks great from outside the effected areas but inside the areas that are perseved to be the worst suffering from 2n homes & holiday lets it badly effects local buisnesses simply because for every local person buying a house lots more are sold to outsiders because not viable as a buisness..... result is outsiders come to live in locality but that means cafes shops ect lose the holiday trade they once had.... like said great vote catcher to the uninitiated but in reality it's a bad policy for buisnesses... more targeted approach to local housing is what should be happening not vote catching policies
