Re: In terms of your club and your country, which do you pre

Fascinating question!

I take it mean 'do you have a greater sense of loyalty to your club or to your country?' This is similar to the question Robert E Lee faced when he was asked to command the Army of the United States of America when his own state, Virginia, was on the verge of seceding (i.e. breaking away) from the USA. He put his state before the USA and refused the command. Both questions ask us to examine our allegiances, which is a useful exercise. I prefer Cardiff City to Wales; I feel closer to Cardiff City than I do to Wales so I feel more loyal to CCFC. I've watched them play for 60 years, in all weathers. I've watched them suffer the most horrendous defeats and I've suffered with them but I've also joined them in the ecstasy of success - though less frequently!

I should say that the question of national identity has long been problematic for me because my mother is Welsh and my father was Scottish.

Club and only one club.
I don't have another one in the prem and support City when I feel like it.

International football is great to watch.

But nothing gets you as a great City win, run in a cup or promotion.
It's a buzz no international gives.

And the down you can feel when things just aren't going right.

Cardiff City always.

Cardiff City, don’t doubt about. Even more so these days since the Nationalist agenda has significantly grown amongst the supporters.

Marching for independence before every home game, what’s all that about? Keep politics out of football.

Cardiff City over Wales

I dont think its a case of comparing both of them. I am a proud Welshman and having endured all the heartache down the years this world cup is absolutely fabulous, being able to raise the Welsh Flag on the highest stage means so much to me and I am off to Qatar next Saturday :)
Bluebirds :ayatollah: its a different feeling and my sense of belonging is equal but different at the end of the day this is the close family with all the heartache that comes with it :bluescarf:

:occasion5: to Bluebirds and Dragons

So, you're against BLM, "taking the knee" also then?

Club everytime, whatever the division, owner and manager that we have. I also love Wales but tbh, I really don't like the fair weather glory hunters that were never there when we were not doing well, Red Wall my arse. I think I may have turned into Victor Meldrew.

100% club.
Still want Wales to do well, though not as much as the City.
