Anyway time to move on all been said before besides sandras beach bar is calling me once again So be nice to each other
Two wrongs never make a right and violence, threats and intimidation are never the way forward.
But for me on both sides of the aisle it all comes down to a quiet yet continuing layer of fear.
A fear that at best could have been allayed with better more transparent leadership, open discussion rather than shutting down of dissenting voices and alternative perspectives that were not aligned to an agenda that lined the pockets of some of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Dissenting voices from once highly credible medical professionals - of which there were many, were routinely kept quiet or discredited.
A fear that at worst feels very much like it was cultivated deliberately to pitch us against each other.
It was fear of a virus and what it could do to them and their loved ones that drove the insanity on one side.
It was fear of sleepwalking into an authoritarian dystopian nightmare under false premises and what that would mean for them and their loved ones on the other.
Either way the root source fo the fear was the same. Leadership that was either incompetent or malevolent. I've said before, I still don't know which of those two options scares me more - but either way, it is not with each other we should be looking to fight and it never has been - it is with far more powerful people who have used us all as pawns.
Like you say we need to be nice to each other, that is 100% the way out of everything, us all (re)learning to show each other friendship.
Hope you had a nice pint at Sandra's

Had lovely cool carib beer ... tbh there is not a simple answer to this debate because people have differing view points for myself I've taken precautionary vaccinations on many occasions because of work and being a man of the world see why people have to have injections to enter other countries( not covid) or you simply cannot get in... yes politicians lied or mislead people but that's what they do same as why conspiracy pherosist are economic with truth both do it to suit the narrative..
And the truth no matter where it comes from is what you believe it is and very rarely comes out....
Ps Sandra's bar is in Antigua

Carib is a bloody lovely beer. Drank a lot of that in my time particularly out in the BVIs
Enjoy your time out there if your still there - times like we're living through now, enjoying somewhere beautiful like Antigua is more important than ever.
(Is a cracking bar in Cyprus by the same name btw)
