No I’m neither 11 and I have plenty of respect within.
I genuinely fail to see why I’m trying to be baited simply because I disagree with Cardiff fan’s reply to a royal family anthem. GSTK is sung at city fans to wind us up so we respond with a song to wind the opposing fans….very very simple.
She was a very rich woman - the land the royal family own is where they get most of their income from.

GSTK is indeed meant as a wind up, I just think we can be far far classier with our retort.

Your respect meter is badly malfunctioning in this case.
And what’s money got to do with this thread..?

The union jack shaggers who support city are very much the older generation whilst the younger fans are more Welsh nationalists, so like it or not that's where we are headed.

Nationalism, wether it’s Welsh, Irish, Scottish or German always attracts insular, xenophobic hatefilled idiots. I can see why it’s so attractive to you. As for Union Jack shaggers, don’t recall ever seeing one among the Cardiff Support.

Spot on Jock, I wonder how many games he’s been to to say there are older generation city fans that shag the Union Jack

You have the right to your rather juvenile opinion but the box chanters who you support don't have the right to use my club to peddle their bile. If you or they feel that way, use the proper channels. And as for the nationalism issue. Use your brain ffs. How long do you think the club would be allowed to stay in the ENGLISH pyramid system. An independent Wales means regular fixtures for the City against TNS and Connahs Quay Nomads with the added excitement of a tasty local derby against Barry.

Perhaps a better retort to GSTK would be to sing "That Prince Andrew he's one of your own"

I'm no Royalist and even I can see it's a tad over the line.

But then that's football.

Sometimes the banter is funny.
Other times it's takes a step too far.

I remember Colchester away.
Spencer Prior scoring the winner.
We were in a shitty little almost cage of a stand.

When he scored.
All the City fans sang.

"You can stick your Royal Family up your arse"

The Queen mother had died a couple of weeks before.

There was rumours he ripped his shirt up afterwards.

Was that over the top for Cardiff to sing that

Probably yes.

But you want change it.

It's football.

It's different to racist comments or chants.
No excuse kick them out.

But when All English teams Cardiff play against get the National anthem thrown at them to wind up the City fans.
Something is going to go back at them.

There's a few funny ones.

Oldham away.
1-7 to City.
There's only 2 Andy Goram's.

Again could be over the top.
If you want to be totally polictly correct.
But them there would never be any humour.

I've not heard the song but i believe in free speech. People in this thread have suggested that it gets "nipped in the bud" ... How are they going to do that?

I remember at the time.there was a rumour that he removed the Welsh flag from his shirt. Any truth to it?

Reply to Elyboy.

Ah maybe that was it.
Ripped shirt or flag removed.

Either way sounds like something happened.

Just glad he netted a ball for us before he got found out as one of our weakest links at the back.

I remember Luton away and I think they hammered us 3-1.
Made us look stupid.
Even the up in the boxes were giving us shit.

But to top it all a little tw*t burning the Welsh flag over to the right.

City fans were going mental.
So my point is.
Cardiff get as good as they give.
