Can’t see how he’s been erased from the history books tbh. Don’t agree with him there. Managers come and go. The club and its fans will always stick around, through thick and thin. :bluescarf:

I have spoken to Bells about Malky and he really says Malky was treated awful.

CRAIG BELLAMY ON MALKY MACKAY:

“In my life time, Malky is the greatest manager Cardiff have ever had and it’s so sad you are not allowed to say his name in or around the club , it’s forbidden.”

Maybe Mackay was treated badly. He also treated players, staff, owners and agents appallingly too. And you know that as well as anyone else.

He bullied and manipulated and spent a whole lot of Tan’s money on a number of very dubious signings, not just Cornelius.

There we some really dodgy dealings behind the scenes and plenty of rumours about Moody and Mackay having “interests” in some of the parties involved in those transfers.

Remember, Mackay withdrew his action for wrongful dismissal. He knew that the club had a whole lot more on him (allegedly!!) that never came out.

Also, he did nothing before or after he managed us. He got us promoted with a huge amount of money to spend, fair enough. But I don’t buy that he was some sort of genius manager. He did the job for us very well, but the football was pretty dull and it came with a cost.

Malky was a No nonsense manager.
He brought our club together.
The facts are there Championship Winners, first promotion to top flight football for more than 50 yrs, League Cup Final 2-2 v Liverpool, Play-off semi-finalists all in two & a half years etc

I don’t doubt his achievements, they are facts.

Are you denying the other issues I raise ?

His leaving wasn’t one sided and the fact it never went to an Employment Tribunal (he withdrew it) despite him not getting a penny in compensation tells us all we need to know.

Of course there were issues, Tan was very Jealous of Malky’s popularity.
Malky did fall out with some players like most managers.

But I have spoken to many of the backroom staff, shops staff, ticket office, ground staff and many many players and they really liked Malky and in fact highly praised him.

Malky could not afford to fight Tan, but after Tan wasted £1mill of our clubs money trying to
Make out Malky was corrupt, zero was found.

Nothing will ever change my mind, achieved greatness and as you say the facts are there on the field , did a brilliant job .

I think we’ll agree to differ on this.

My feeling is that there was a load more but the club agreed to not take it further as long as Mackay didn’t try to claim compensation.

Two sides to every story but I certainly won’t deny his achievements.

My feeling is that there was a load more but the club agreed to not take it further as long as Mackay didn’t try to claim compensation.

I agree to disagree.

But let’s not say our Club, it was Tan and he did take it further a fact and failed and cost us a £1mill.

Tan’s grievances about Malky in many parts were due to his misunderstandings of the way football operated; particularly transfers. Yes we made some bad transfers and some brilliant ones but Tan didn’t want to use agents when he first got on board until he was told that without agents we would be signing Welsh league players.

Tan certainly didn’t want to use Agencies that had family members of our manager and sporting director named in their organisation …………. allegedly.

As I said, loads that never came out as part of the agreement they came to.

Bells is telling the truth a lot of good managers will not come under this present regime.

Where does he say that in particular?

I see a lot about him not wanting to become a manager and reasons why some other managers would not come here due to our recent turnover of mangers but nowhere that I can see does he say "the current regime". He may even have told you that privately and he may think it but he doesn't say it here.

I think this is where he said it
“The more I've looked at it, not just Cardiff, I'm not interested in being a manager," he said.

I get that you think you're sticking up for Annis to get in his good books but there is no way on this planet that "[b]Bells is telling the truth a lot of good managers will not come under this present regime" is even close to the same as “The more I've looked at it, not just Cardiff, I'm not interested in being a manager,".
And I'm 100% sure Annis doesn't need you trying to defend him, he's more than capable of doing it himself.

He's clearly saying he doesnt want to be a manager preferring to be a no 2 regardless of where he goes.. one suspects he will follow Vincent around just as lots managers take certain people wherever they go they'll come as a pair... problem on here is people interpret what is said to suit their narrative.... dont go with managers wont come here? Theres been far worse owners than tan who have got decent managers ... it's just tan is blinkered and cant see past the present when he should look at future prospects... Hudson is not the manager we need and until tan sees this we are going nowhere in a hurry ....

I dont think he has the right personality to be a manager or maybe not the complete 100%.

Far too confrontational, uses anger way too much. Would be throwing his toys out the pram and pushing the prame in the river at any time Tan asked him a question.

He needs to learn his trade first before any managers job - just my opinion
