I would welcome the booing with open arms.

I’d be ashamed, but then I guess it comes down to personal standards, integrity and maturity.

Yep...!  :ayatollah:

My alarm went off this morning and expected to be met with the humour of Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist on the breakfast show.
But was hit with loads of spill about the Queen.
It ruined my wake up.
Whilst I do not want to disrespect the death of anyone.
I simply don't care.
I'm avoiding all news as it's going to go on and on about it constantly for weeks.
Then it will be all about Prince, sorry King Charles.
Again I don't care.
And as for the national anthem.
I just have to turn it off.
And I'm an English man by birth but have Irish in my family a few lines back.
I'm a Cardiff city fan and support Wales and England in football.
Wales first as city are in my blood now and Wales has been my home for most of my life.
Please let's just talk about Cardiff City and footy and Welsh sport.
Or and other sport.
Time to move on.

And you’ve barely mentioned you don’t care.

Name calling is the first sign of being childish by the way

Not name-calling. It's more questioning; and your recent posts (and some of others you supported with your disrespect) show he might have a point... ;)

rugby, cricket ,form1 all went ahead..so cant understand why football authorities need to cancel? a minutes silence with black armbands would suffice...from my circle of friends no one is a "royalist" fanatic all agree she is a remarkable lady who has done a good job hence deserving a minutes silence ...i think if she knew they were cancelling all football games because of her demise then she would not approve

My opinion is everything should be off or everything should be on

If it was six nations weekend the games would be on

It's an opinion but surely it is up to the individual governing body for each sport and there is zero chance of getting them to all agree on anything. As for Formula 1 going ahead as someone else said, that's just a ridiculous statement as it's international not British.

My personal view is that I would have thought that Friday postponements were enough followed by a minutes silence & black armbands for Sat & Sun games.

Since you are so set against the monarchy and (quote) couldn't give a f@@&" about them or HM The Queen Elizabeth II's passing, are you able to confirm that Monday will be a 'normal working day' for you (and others of your mindset) because you couldn't take the Bank Holiday with any real conscience or without hypocrisy...? :?

Curious as to your 'stance' being similar for the coronation, too...? ;)

Lol. I was just about to ask a similar thing.

Regards to the bank holiday quote:
It is not bank holiday for everyone.
As for some people it can be part of their shift pattern and expected to work.
Transport and logistics business owners etc.
So to be smug and use that as a reply is immature just as is leaving a silly laughing emoji can be to others.

Plus for those that are off on those days.
Have no choice if inforced by an employer.
And some believe it or not do not get paid.
The self employed for instance.
Either way the opinion of those that get paid or don't is of nobodies business other than the individual it is effective by.
Nor should it to be used as a way to belittle or dig out a person of a way to point score just because someone has a difference of opinion to others.
Also I was unaware that any football fan or more to point a Cardiff City had to share the same opinion as another.
Nor was it part of the curriculum to be a Cardiff city fan or attend the games.

If pro Royalist don't like posts or replies that might offend their opinions.
Perhaps they should consider that not everyone is.
And stick to talking about football or just learn to deal with a reply or post different to the ones they post themselves.

You do realise you’ve contradicted yourself there don’t you?

Well if that's the case.
Then perhaps you could use more than one sentence and point it out?
