If someone in your neighbourhood had Jimmy Savile or any other known paedophile visiting their home, would you think that individual is a good person? Would you be upset if that person in your neighbourhood passed away?

You think the Queen knew (Celtic fan) Jimmy Savile was a nonce? Did the Pope know when he gave him a Papal Knighthood? Saville was a scheming manipulative b*stard, to use him to score a point when the Queens not even been buried is low. There were plenty at the BBC who were aware what Saville was doing, do you still buy a license?

For me the reaction of the Queens death compared to Princess Diana death is nothing.

Dianas death hurt the Nation big time. Crowds went to the streets in tears, thousands of teddy bears would be seen around memorials and Elton John version of Candle in the Wind worded for her, "Nations Golden Child" became a national hit within hour of its release. Diana was our Golden Child and that is because she broke protocol a few times and when she did the Nation warmed to her. We all felt there was a person who will take us forward into a new era we all wanted but the authorities put an end to that. Proof of that is we all wanted Heathrow Airport to be renamed Princess Diana Airport. Why it never happened i believe I know.

Returning to the subject of the Queen I honestly believed she had her hands tied behind her back. When I was in the military I was told the Queen was the Boss. She had the respect of the serving members but that was down to the fact we also had our hands tied behind our backs. At least we could walk away from it where she was stuck with it all. So for me she did a good job at it although some events of late have damaged her good work.

Now we have a King in Charles it will be interesting to see how it works out. He wanted to marry Princess Monaco, a Catholic. He ended up with Diana but let's be blunt here, she was not for him. You get the impression it was all setup by the authorities. Somehow the both of them worked out a separation and that must have shocked the authorities. Dianas death must have been a blessing in disguise for him but at her funeral he acted very dignified. He is now with the love of his life and he look content. From this experience of being controlled by the authorities to getting his own way I hope he considers all that when serving his people. We can all but hope.

We have lost an incredible woman and a true leader of all four nations.

Even as a republican, I can respect and applaud the immense job and servitude this lady has given to Great Britain.

She will be sorely missed.

I think the TV media are overplaying their hand at the moment. I am fatigued by it all already and we got another week of it !!!

94% of the world has only known the Queen of England, she was beyond the flawed institution and i get that this is a huge worldwide event and needs planning and organising, but please spare us another week of graining film clips and royal acolytes informing us what they think is going through the Kings mind and measuring the impact on normal folk.

I am guessing next week's games are off as well because the security operation will be massive for the state funeral.

This is nothing like Diana, she was young, beautiful, and fragile; the nation had a mass guilt trip knowing that she was in a loveless almost arranged marriage akin to "Game of Thrones".

I am not really anti or pro-monarchy, but the pretense that the nation is donning black and can't walk the streets without handkerchiefs due to the tears of grief is starting the grate.
