All the players SM has brought in and looked good so far imo

I think WBA has just signed a striker from L2 so this other lad must be going somewhere.

Roger I feel watters is missing a sidekick to play off .... or can Robinson play upfront on own? Let's hope it comes off and things could start look up fairly quickly. :bluescarf:

Morison doesn’t want to play with two strikers, he did it last night and it failed.

If we get 2 strikers in I wouldn’t be surprised if we try to off load Watters, if anyone is stupid enough to want him !!

Get Robinson and A.N.Other with Etete and Davies as back up and I’ll be happy with that.

Anything as long as I don’t have to put up with another minute of watching Watters !!!!!

Good signing if it comes off.

1. If he's any sort of WBA offcast like Kipre then he'll do alright.

2. Plenty of experience at this level.

3. We've been very picky with our transfers this summer. All successful to a point. I'm confident in SM picking out a player.

It’s coming to the end of the window and there’s lots of movement from clubs on their players and deals can be made.

Suggest you turn off the TV or go for a pint if you don’t like watching certain players.

We will need 5 strikers at least until January and the current 3 are all young and not exposed to the championship. Hopefully we will get 2 experienced strikers who can teach the young ones.

Nelson and Sang will be gone before any strikers.

We will need 5 strikers Robinson, A.N.Other, Etete, Davies and Harris if my maths is correct !!

As for sitting at home to avoid Watters, why after 51 years of being a supporter, can’t I express an opinion about a sub-standard player !!?

Having harris upfront with watters wont work but having experienced championship player just might.... playing one upfront is a gamble if expecting others to back him up as they havent done it with watters so far .. but he will be improvement that's for sure

Oh I do love it when people prattle on about how long they’ve been following something. Is it an inferiority complex?

By the way Davies is not a striker more a wide player something else you might have learned.

Anyway, as to my second point, Based on your answer, I would ask you to question yourself as to whether you sir are a football man? My second point is most validand you have chosen to believe one thing, and I the other.

Money available from the start? I very much doubt it. TAN is now feeling the pressure realising he should have done weeks ago what he is now purporting to be thinking of doing.

What is it with people being fixated against something? Watters as no experience of championship football yet hes expected to be like aaland ? Dont see the same complaints about those missing sitters like last night and Saturday... watters undoubtedly would benefit from an experienced player along side him One thing for sure Harris is not that man or anyone else in team for that matter..

Inferiority complex of you ? I think not ! Why ? Because I don’t have the same opinion of a player as you ?

Unless you’re Jurgen Klopp in disguise my opinion is as valid as yours.

As for Davies, I agree that he appears to be more of a wide player but the fact is that he has been played as a striker so far. Maybe that’s something you’ve learned tonight !!

Even if Davies ends up as a wide player he’ll still be a better striker than Watters !!!!!!!

Roger your wasting your time this is a person who believes getting a player on a free transfer means club paid nothing for them and only paying a fee to club counts as spending money..... and yes most people understood there was money available and as its shown still is despite 15 new recruits so far! Trouble on here people only see what they want to see. :o

For whatever reason, he has chosen not to use it ( Etete apart - which at this point didnt make much sense and wont help us this season or possibly next).

My point here is that if money was available it should have been used earlier, where, there would not have been a mad scramble for players, thus inflating the price, and there would have been a larger pool of players from which to choose.

I dont buy into the argument tjat we have not been able to find a striker that fits our style of play. It does appear to be more a pressure situation that the money is coming out now.

What take on board your opinion club spent no money? :laughing5: You have openly stated that club as spent no money other than 520k on transfer fees... which is bizarre considering we have brought in 15 players... as for this thread you description of board is silly but typically you..... there are lots clubs under pressure to sign players look at Leicester? Yes club have tried to go loan/ free transfer market
just like most clubs but obviously that is failing for whatever reason..as you and everyone else have pointed out we need a striker so if spending ££££s is required so be it ..... so now you belly ache club are being desperate but if dont sign anyone you shall be on your podium mouthing of about board with equally silly remarks like in this thread... but that's your opinion of course but there again we all know your opinion before you say anything.. :occasion5:
Ps roger was only pointing out you dont read things because it doesnt suit your agenda.

It’s nearly over the line:

I'd be happy with this and Hugil as we definitely need two in today.

I don’t understand how anyone can be disappointed with this signing. Even if it is reactionary and as a result of Watters being absolutely terrible at being a footballer this guy would be wanted by many clubs at our level and certainly seems to have had some demand for his services. Excited about this as he is a team player as well as significantly better than Watters and Harris

Happy with this! Juts need Hugil now and that’s a cracking pair of options up top

Morison trying for 2nd striker and you will see one or two go out on loan if we get another one.
