Luton down to 10 men

Great work from Cardiff. Nkounkou flies down the left before cutting the ball inside to Watters, who took the ball on the half turn before smacking a brilliant low shot, which was saved well by Horvath.

Cardiff now in control

Ojo Kicks the ball over the crossbar

Just managed to log on and after seeing that lineup I’ll just check back later. The team looks completely wrong and uninspiring. Ralls?!?!

Ojo again does well, bursting through a couple of tackles before laying off Nkounkou, whose shot from range is dragged just wide of the mark.
Much better from Cardiff here.

Cardiff playing well now

Good, this, from Cardiff. Romeo with another cross, but it's cut out by Bree.

Mark Harris is brought down by Dan Potts. He does well, the Welsh striker, and Cardiff can reset just inside Luton's half.

Luton free kick

Save by Alsop
Tue Aug 30, 2022 7:07 pm
First 20 mins, Luton started well, but City took control for the last 15mins
Tue Aug 30, 2022 7:08 pm
Wintle hits it to the back post and Ng looks to be the target, but it sails past the defender's head.
Tue Aug 30, 2022 7:10 pm
Good save by Alsop again
Tue Aug 30, 2022 7:10 pm
Wow, what a passage of play!
Nkounkou makes a bad mistake and plays Cardiff into trouble, Wintle hits a poor backpass and Adebayo gets there before Allsop and tries to take it around the keeper, who does well to stop the shot.
Cardiff regain possession and hare upfield, resulting in Ojo letting a shot fly from the edge of the box, but it's inches wide!

I can’t see many goals from set pieces this season
Tue Aug 30, 2022 7:11 pm
Its Luton now doing the attacking
Tue Aug 30, 2022 7:11 pm
Good game of football
Tue Aug 30, 2022 7:13 pm
So far even stevens, both sides been quite good

I haven’t seen Watters name in this match day thread and it’s nearly half time. Is he chasing down and making runs or just being a waste of breath?

Well, he’s managed to hit the target this game. He’s getting closer

He just needs a goal, any way, any how.

Trry looking next time rather than just blindly complaining.

Ralls with a ball into the corner, trying to find Watters, and Potts has to put it out for a throw. Cardiff enjoying some control here now.

We're still spending too much time faffing about outside the area rather than getting the ball in there and giving someone, anyone a chance to attack the goal.

Rather blindly complain about a striker who is out of his depth and costing us points than blindly support him. He’s getting laid a handsome amount of money for little return and I don’t see one goal being the start of some deluge I’m afraid

Playing well but can't create many chances so far.
Rinomhota, Wintle and Nkounkou have been very good.

Luton corner after an Adebayo header deflects off Nkounkou.
