As he has not been with our group for more than a few days pre Norwich, I cant see him as an immediate starter, but should be on the bench as an option.

The way we are going, I see Ojo as a lone striker moving forward.

He was on villas pre season tour if that helps....it also re iterates the problem clubs are having getting in loan players from premier league clubs before season starts.... In that they have not made up minds who to let go on loan until they've been looked at pre season... and watters is lone striker not ojo.

Thanks for the reply. Watters maybe, but I can see Ojo filling that position moving forward.

Whilst like yourself and others theres concerns about our lack of perceived decent forwards you got to beare in mind we've never played football to help our forwards previously except Moore....this time we are doing so and hopefully it will produce results..... also dont necessarily need a 20 goal striker but what do need is other players contributing to the goals? And I think that's what we got in the players we've signed...but would love a decent striker to come in as we all do to give us that chance of playoffs

Certainly don’t think he’s 5th choice. He’s a 1st team player as he’s been around the squad all of pre-season. Morison just having options.

Take Whyte out of the equation for wingers, see him as more of a number 10 based on his pre-season performances.

4 wingers fighting for 2 spots, keep them all hungry. Knowing if you decide to drop say O’Dowda and Ojo for a rest, you’ve got Tanner and this guy to come in!

We can make 5 subs this season as well. Having plenty of pacey wingers to run at tired defenders will be a good option for us.

Very true but with no strikers we are going to struggle, hopefully Watters steps up :bluebird:
