And herein lies the problem as created by the media hype promoted and demanded by the regime.

Lets not get carried away, this could be good, it could be a nightmare. SM has done what he can with zero money, I mean we are no Millwall, Luton, Ipswich or Swansea in terms of finances.

Ive said we hwve played some nice football which i stand by, but Championship is different.

I cant say how great things have been until we see the guys play. None of thwm will have played as a team against anything luke the opposition we face on Saturday.

Everyone is allowed an opinion, but some will only allow an opinion if it matches their own and will aggressively shout down others.

Annis is very fair and allows all opinions. Its fair to say, he will be the last to criticise the team, but until you see how we perform against our peers, ylu cannot say it is a remarkeable job.

Absolute bollocks. My other account, Cityslicker (I dropped this username) and my mates account, are both now banned just because we disagreed with Annis. We havnt been aggressive, we've just disagreed with what he's said. Everyone is allowed an opinion unless they disagree with him I guess? Why is he and yourself allowed to have strong opinions and we arnt? When we disagree we are 'aggressive' and 'shoot people down'. Its forum for ffs. The purpose of it is to discuss opinions.

He called us dictators yet edits/deletes posts and then bans people purely for having a different opinion to him. Literally can not get anymore hypocritical

At the moment they have shown us nothing that matters.

We're all City fans - we all want to see Morison do well as that means our club will be successful but until we see how his (and it is now fully his) team performs in the Championship I can't see how it can be claimed that he's done a "remarkable" job.

The article says so far. It also says nothing about how well/bad next season will go and also states that the Jury is still out on the signings.

Considering where we were heading and the football we were playing last season, do you think morison did well to change that given the budget he has had to work to?

Are you happy that we have moved away from hoofball?

Our midfield was awful last season. Would you say it's improved this season?

Posters like this one don’t answer my questions, but expect us to answers theirs without even seeing one Championship game with the new team.

Funny story is I answer everything, how can they say are you happy where wwe are heading now when this sane question was said last season, yet every season for the last 4 their has been half of it not good.

Of course we want to start going up the league and play good football, let’s see it from Saturday and judge after 10-12 games.

Maybe you should stop editing your posts then after people reply to them.

People can base an opinion on what they've seen in pre season. Base an opinion from knowledge of players and the clubs they've played for.

No !Annis, I know you want the best for City and you usually say " give it 12 games" really can't count these friendlies in that but you are sounding as if you are waiting for hom to fail ( I know you don't)

The article is way over the top, it's like a talented 16 years bluebird wrote an end of term essay.

I still remain in the "its a big job for a rookie" camp.

The club was starting to get the recruitment right prior to SM appointment and on paper, it looks like a massive improvement on last year's squad and I am really looking forward to seeing them in action. How much of this is SM is down to however you want to see it.

We still don't know if he and his team are any good at coaching though, there is a serious lack of experience on his bench. None of the kids kicked on but it was a difficult situation to start them in. The jacks coach totally outcoaching him is still a very bitter pill to swallow.

I bet a few of our players cost a lot more than the freebies tag and I'd be surprised if the salaries are as low as quoted or if they are there will be huge incentive bonus's. I am in the Vinny has backed him camp and the pressure will be well and truly on him to at least flirt with the playoffs to survive the world cup break. Cooper at forest demonstrated what a difference a top class championship coach can make.

If it was a remarkable as PA states the club would have extended him contract beyond 12 months to ward of suitors

There's a lot of positivity in that article , and it's good, we should be positive about the season. I'm excited to see a completely new team, but I'm also concerned about a few things, we will just have to see how it goes.

If we get off to a poor start the groundwork for the complaints is already there, why didn't we sign a striker, why are we playing NG at centre back etc.

For me, there's question marks over all of these signings, with the exception of sawyers I guess who's proven to be one of the top performers at this level over the last few seasons!

I can't wait for it all to start though, I just hope people on her remember we will lose games , even at home! And first up we have a Norwich side who will likely be in the promotion push! So let's not over react if it doesn't go out way !

No, he is a mate of mine. We went to the same School and had a season ticket together for a few seasons.

OK, taking all that on board, then why was my cityslicker account banned as a result of this thread? All I did was express my opinion that I think morison has done really well under difficult circumstances and debated with people who don't think he's done well.
