Puts in an extra excellent cross and covers his fullback very well from what I remember. Also remember him confidently knocking the ball past the keeper in a 1 v 1 against a northern team.

Ojo on a free
Or Josh Murphy for 11 million
I know which one makes sense to me

Brilliant to get another quality player in

Cardiff City FC are delighted to confirm that Sheyi Ojo has re-joined the club on a two-year contract, subject to clearance.
The 25-year-old returns to Cardiff City Stadium for a second spell with the Bluebirds, having spent the 2020/21 campaign on loan in the Welsh capital.
During that time, the former England U21 international scored five goals and recorded seven assists in 41 City appearances, helping to secure valuable points against Preston North End, Middlesbrough, Barnsley and Rotherham United.
A product of the Liverpool Academy, Ojo made his First Team debut for the Reds in January 2016 before going on to gain Championship experience with the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham and, most recently, Millwall.
The winger, who departed Anfield after eleven years earlier this summer, has put pen to paper on a deal which will keep him at CCS until the summer of 2024.
After completing his move to South Wales, Sheyi said: “I really enjoyed myself last time I was here, and I’ve got some unfinished business to do. I’m really looking forward to the season, and I hope we can do some special things.
“I didn’t actually get to see the fans last time I was here, so I’m really looking forward to that. The one thing that was missing last time was the fans, so I’m excited for the first game.
“I’m excited to train with the boys, and get stuck in. I know a few of the boys already, so I’m really looking forward to it. Off the pitch, I’ve got some close friends who live here as well, and I really liked being in Cardiff last time I was here.”
Steve Morison commented: “Sheyi adds to that top end of the pitch and gives us some extra quality up there. He’s got lots of power and pace, and I’m very excited to see him in action.
“He was very good when he was here on loan, but I think there’s more to come from him. I liked him when I first saw him, and when the opportunity came up to bring him to the Club permanently, it was a no brainer.
“It’s a permanent transfer for him, and he’s at an age now where he has a real chance to bed in, be somewhere, and make it his home."

Really pleased to see him back.
Did well in what was a poor side.
Him and Wilson offered the only pace that year and a team that bypassed the midfield
Now we have a much more mobile team with energy, pace, aggression and can pass it around.
Of course two caveats.. 1) it all needs to gel and 2) we need someone up front to score... Obvious things really
What I would say though is that a decent championship striker would have a field day in this team with the pace and width and passing we have added to the side.

Incredible signing on a free… bodes well that we he wanted to come back after his loan spell too.
I don’t think any of us at the end of last season, would have foreseen us assembling the squad we have

. Top job from SM and all involved

Just watched the highlights of him from his time here before. He set up Kieffer a hell of a lot. This could be the making of Watters.

Needed one more winger and we’ve filled that gap with a very good one for this division.

Great news always felt he looked so dangerous when he came on the opposition went backwards .
It wasn't all about the money apparently .

I have a feeling he will end up being one of the strikers

Hope not. We need an experienced and proven out and out striker that ojo can provide for.

Ray of sunshine this morning aren’t you?
I think a striker is about to sign, probably be announced with Ojo. Morison stated Collins wasn’t to be let go until a suitable replacement was sourced.
Few rumours gathering pace today that Collins undergoing a medical at Derby.
Plus, the fact that Collins was no where near the team last night, I think that also speaks volumes.
As i have posted before we have a striker who has signed but has been long delayed, I do know why but have been told not to divulge the reason why no announcement, just hope it's announced soon along with the second striker we are after

If he's signed why the long wait ? Either he's signed or not .?
