Have Labour been in power for 100 years in the valleys? I live in Caerphilly and on a number of occasions the lunatic left of Plaid have run the Council and in fairness it's taken Labour to sort out the mess that's left.
But in fairness whoever runs local councils they are local people who have a far greater understanding of local issues which is why, in my opinion, they are far better placed to decide where speed limits need to be changed.
I say leave local issues like speed limits etc. to local councils whatever party is in control.

Very true about local people knowing what is best policy for particular area but unfortunately lots sheep in Wales and seeing as 20mph is the default speed so cannot see any party racing to put other speed levels on rds think of the cost and confusion of having one street 20 next 30 and so forth....tbh as I've said this is the beginning 70mph as already been reduced to 50mph on more rds recently and there is talk of other rds having reduced speed like A40 A48 in carmarthen ... Cardiff already nightmare to drive with 20mph everywhere you go.... now will have speed checks once its passed into law suppose one way to take cars off rd is get drivers banned for 12points...
