Thanks for the update Carl
I really hope that Oli is fit to start on Saturday, I cant believe how much we miss him.
I noticed that you said that Bellamy is unlikely to start, so does that mean that he could play some part?

In light of all that has happened recently Carl, do you think it was prudent, & good business, to have allowed Ross MaCormack to leave?

I could not believe DJ sold him, knowing Chops was out for 2 months.

This is the thing about Dave Jones, he might be the best manager we have ever had, but some of the actions coming from him seem to be diabolical at times. Very fustrating!!!

Carl, any truth in a rumour that I have heard, that a factor for Bellamy coming to us was to carry out his coaching badges?

Carl I always thought he came to us because Man City wouldn't let him go to Spurs?

Marcel Desailly was also mentioned, not sure if he was just taking the badges along side him or whether he was carrying out the training. But like you say, im sure it must be a load rubbish.

Nobody else bothered that we might have another Robbie Fowler scenario on our hands?

I agree, its exactly the same, Fowler had come from the prem after his best season ever in the prime of his career after costing 12m a season before, what were we thinking paying 20k a week for someone that cost 12m and on 90k a week, TG HAS LOST IT

I'm sorry but craig is not robbie !!!!
Craig is a Cardiff born, First Class Footballer who wants to play & help his home (city) to reach the premiership...... This is so totally different from the fowler scenario!!!!!
do you think for one second that if craig was not up to it, he would actually come back to his home town, where his family are, and not give, 100% of himself?????? I very much doubt it... Who in their right mind would do that, I totally appreciate what he has done (and want's to do for the club). If he wanted to make his mark by not playing, he could have gone elsewhere, I am one grateful fan who appreciates his intentions and wishes him a speedy recovery.
Back this time last year, I wouldn't even had dreamt that he would even consider playing for us, and I actually held my breath for quite a while, until it was officail and he was actually joining the club. I was well chuffed< I can tell you"
In the past few decades I was the worst critic . for example whe we took on fowler I was very un-nerved and thought why is he coming to us?, Well within the first few weeks, you could see why, the guy couldn't play, and wanted to recieve adulation because he was, who he was!!!! (bullshit, you have to earn it!!!!). I said at the time that if we had bought him (as you would a toaster), and it was faulty-(as he was) you would just simply return it from whence it came........
I am absolutely sure that Craig Bellamy is going to be different to fowler, and will prove to the Cardiff Supporters that he means to help us into the premiership and beyond!!!! . So get well soon bellers we are relying on you!!!!

Good post here....
I hope NOBODY on here is having a go directly at Craig Bellamy. I understand there may be a little frustration that he isn't in the team at the moment but that's hardly his fault....and I think Carl's post here clarifies the situation fully.
It would appear that maybe the club were a little ambitious in 'fast-tracking' their prize asset for the Doncaster game (wholly understandable given the enormity of his arrival) and coupled with the insanely early international matches it has obviously had an effect and surely it is far better to get it sorted now rather than make it worse for the remainder of the season when we'll need him more and more....
My only hope (and I make NO apology) is that he doesn't go with the Welsh team for the October internationals. We're NOT going to qualify, so why make things worse for the Bluebirds who at least have a chance of achieving something in 2010/11

"Bell-Army, Bell-Army!!"

Agreed, atleast hold on too him until January

dont think ross would of made any difference, we would of being 8k wages for a player who had lost his apetite to play for us.
Lets hope he rediscovers his form as i truly liked him, but he has a lot of maturing to do .
At least we have Keogh who is full of enthusiasm to play for us

i think the comparisons between Bellamy and that waster Fowler should be put to bed once and for all. Its complete and utter bollocks.
Get Bellamy fit and we will reap the rewards..
i think the main issues we have right now are in midfield. we badly need Oli back. Our midfield is solid with him in it, along with Drinkwater too. We just need to be patient, get to the international break and then really go for it after that when we are back to full strength.
2 home games coming up which id personally be happy if we scraped by both of those 1-0 and then get something out of the barnsley game. Theres still plenty of football to be played.
Great update Carl.

So it looks as if he should be fit for the next Wales game, and hopefully not get injured. Perhaps DJ should stand tall and refuse to let him play for the next wales game.

he's the Welsh captain .............. you try stopping him from playing ! Lets be honest he's only gonna play in 1 game which should be the home game against Bulgaria then after that the next Wales friendly isnt until Feb with the England qualifier in March .
